Celtics vs. Timberwolves
By Kyle Murray
Derrick White is coming off a big performance.
Last time out against the Pistons, the Celtics' guard scored 27 points, but I think that may have led to a bit of an overreaction on his 18.5 points line here.
This is a tough matchup against a Timberwolves team that ranks 12th in defensive efficiency.
As a result, I project White for just 16.5 points today.
Pick: Derrick White Under 18.5 Points (-115)
Bulls vs. Pacers
By Joe Dellera
The Bulls and Pacers face off Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back for both of these teams.
One player who has done well for the Bulls on no rest this season is Josh Giddey. He’s essentially remained consistent with his full-season numbers.
Giddey averages 20.8 points, 9.9 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game this season.
Here, I’ll forgo the assists, as Indiana does a good job of limiting those. The Pacers play at a top-10 pace with a bottom-10 defense and allow opponents the fourth-most rebounds per game.
Giddey’s points and rebounds line is 28.5, and he has gone over in nine of 14 games.
I think there’s a non-zero chance Coby White sits out, which would further bolster Giddey’s opportunities.
I’ll grab Over 28.5 PR tonight.
Pick: Josh Giddey Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds (-118)
Pistons vs. Heat
Norman Powell led the Heat with a 26.7% usage rate before Tyler Herro returned. With both guys in the lineup on Wednesday, Powell’s usage fell to 20.3%.
It’s just a one-game sample, but Herro looks healthy and ready to take over the offense.
Powell will likely fall back into being the third option offensively behind Herro and Bam Adebayo.
Plus, tonight it’s a tough matchup against a stingy Pistons defense.
Pick: Norman Powell Under 19.5 Points (-121)
Nuggets vs. Suns
By Bet Labs
Before yesterday's NBA Cup game against the Thunder, Phoenix had gone under today's total in four straight games.
Now the Suns, as well as the Nuggets, will play for a second night in a row, which aligns with our Bet Labs system recommendation to target the under in this game.
This system focuses on early-season NBA games where sharp line movement and public bias create value on the under.
When totals drop from open to close, despite heavy public action favoring the over, it signals that professional bettors see inflated expectations for scoring.
Early in the season, teams are still finding rhythm, rotations are inconsistent, and defensive energy tends to outpace offensive efficiency. The market often overestimates early offensive output, while sharp money corrects the number downward.
By siding with this adjustment and fading public optimism, this system captures the predictive edge of informed movement and early-season unders that outperform inflated lines.
Pick: Under 231.5 (-105)
Mavericks vs. Clippers
By Action PRO
PRO projects Clippers center Ivic Zubac for 19.89 points today, a great 23.7% edge against the market when compared to his 16.5 line.
Earlier in the day, this line opened at 15.5, but Zubac has the advantage of playing a Mavericks' defense that will miss Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively in the paint.
Zubac's offensive output has varied greatly, but he has surpassed this line in six of his past 12 games. More importantly, the last time he faced Dallas, two weeks ago, Zubac scored 27 points.
The Croatian player has already had other recent explosive performances when given the chance, even against great defenses. This month, he scored 33 against Cleveland, and 23 and 21 in back-to-back games versus the Suns.
Without David and Lively to guard him, back Zubac to go over this 16.5-point line tonight.
