Clemson vs Coastal Carolina Pick
Kicking things off, we have a ranked matchup between the No. 9 Clemson Tigers and the No. 14 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. This is the final midweek matchup for both of these clubs, and the scoreboard will be lit up a lot at Spring Brooks Stadium.
In years past, the Chanticleers' hitter-friendly home park has been detrimental to their pitching staff.
However, this season, the Coastal Carolina staff has been excellent, ranking fourth in team ERA and eighth in WHIP. However, the Chants' staff FIP sits nearly two runs higher than their ERA, which suggests looming regression.
Coastal Carolina's staff hasn't faced many lineups like the one Clemson will roll out. The Tigers rank 54th in wRC+ and 100th in OPS.
Clemson's lineup has been cold of late, but the environment and the Chanticleers' impending regression on the mound have them primed to break out in a big way.
Speaking of struggling, Clemson's pitching staff has been the main culprit in the Tigers' cold streak that has seen them lose five of their last six games.
Over that stretch, the Tigers own a team ERA of 8.28, and their season ERA has ballooned to 5.00. Their collective FIP doesn't indicate much positive regression, which means we should see Coastal do plenty of damage on the scoreboard as well.
Take the over here.
Pick: Over 12.5 (-125)
Campbell vs UNC Pick
The No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels enter this matchup well-rested. They haven't taken the field since last Wednesday when they defeated Queens College to notch their 35th victory of the season.
We can confidently back the Tar Heels to continue their winning ways tonight, as they've been one of the most well-rounded teams in the country. They've completely shut down opposing lineups, ranking seventh in team ERA and 10th in WHIP.
Tonight should feature more of the same when they host a Campbell team that's 20-25 on the year and 134th in RPI. Campbell has been dreadful at the dish, ranking 210th in team batting average and 195th in wRC+.
Back the Tar Heels to win this one in dominant fashion and cover the run line.
Pick: UNC -3.5 (-115)

Alabama vs Troy Pick
Lastly, we have another ranked matchup between No. 23 Alabama and No. 19 Troy.
The Crimson Tide come in getting too much respect after dropping a weekend series to Vanderbilt, which put their SEC record at just 13-11 on the season.
Alabama's struggles in conference play won't put it in a great spot on the road against a Troy team that has power conference numbers.
In fact, these two teams are familiar with one another. They already played back in March, when Crimson Tide took the first meeting by a score of 3-1.
However, with this matchup shifting back to Riddle-Pace Field, the Trojans are primed to even the season series and pull off the upset tonight.
Pick: Troy ML +145
