Charlotte vs. Temple Odds & Betting Predictions - October 17, 2026

Temple hasn’t been favored by three touchdowns against an FBS opponent since COVID.  The last time was against UConn in 2019, they closed -26 and won 49-17 Charlotte is the worst FBS team by a country mile, Bill Connelly’s Top 772 has them ranked 178 in the country. Six D2 teams are higher rated, shoutout Ferris State and Harding! 34 FCS teams are ranked higher.  They’re scoring 16 ppg, allowing 42.2 ppg, limited explosiveness (120th) and big time explosives allowed (120th). Special teams are ghastly (203rd) and they have one of the worst red zone splits in terms of scoring TDs and allowing them.  Sam Brown V remains out, which hurts their explosiveness, but KC Keeler has a deep running back room and now that Ajani Sheppard has seized the starting job, you can expect 50 to 80 rushing yards out of the senior.
