Meanwhile, Temple likes to play slowly. The Owls rank 110th nationally in plays per game and 118th in seconds per play.
These are two perfect dance partners to produce a game with long drives and limited possessions.
At the same time, Army ranks 87th nationally in Explosiveness, and Temple’s offense has started to get stuck in the mud.
I love K.C. Keeler as a defensive coach, and this will be his second crack at a triple-option attack this season, so the Owls should be prepared on that side of the ball.
I suspect there will be at least one scoreless quarter in this game, and I could see this game finishing with under 30 points. I was surprised to see the total open in the mid-40s.
