BetMGM has partnered with mobile-first ticketing platform Gametime, allowing players to redeem BetMGM Rewards Points for credits toward live-event tickets.

The credits are available through the BetMGM Rewards Store and can be used for sporting events, concerts, and other entertainment. The partnership expands BetMGM’s loyalty offerings beyond gaming, hospitality, and travel.

The agreement gives BetMGM players another way to use their accumulated points. Through Gametime, customers can find and secure live-event tickets, with delivery backed by the Gametime Guarantee.

“Loyalty isn't just about earning and spending points, it's about giving players opportunities to enjoy special moments they can't find anywhere else,” said Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer of BetMGM. “Our partnership with Gametime gives customers more flexibility in how they use their points while connecting them to the events they care about most.”

The company also recently announced a slot based on the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones." BetMGM is also providing poolside sports betting at Mandalay Bay, and has a list of  new player tools and rewards.

Gametime Connects Players With Events

For Gametime, the partnership brings its ticketing platform into BetMGM’s rewards program, connecting the service with players looking to use their points for live entertainment.

“Live events have a way of turning a good day into a great story, and that’s the reason Gametime exists,” said Brad Griffith, CEO and founder of Gametime. “Partnering with BetMGM lets us bring that feeling to even more fans, giving players a fast, easy way to trade their rewards for a night they won’t forget.”

Gametime’s mobile-first platform allows users to find and secure tickets. The collaboration links that service with BetMGM’s loyalty program, giving players an option to turn digital rewards into in-person experiences.

Players Have Redeemed Credits

According to the announcement, BetMGM players have already redeemed Gametime credits for tickets to high-demand concerts and an international soccer tournament final.

The companies did not identify the concerts or the tournament. The examples show how players have used the credits, rather than a promise of access to specific future events.

Adding Gametime credits broadens the range of experiences available through BetMGM Rewards. Alongside its existing gaming, hospitality, and travel offerings, the program now includes another route to live sports and entertainment.

Responsible Gambling Remains a Focus for BetMGM

BetMGM said it operates in 31 markets through mobile and retail offerings. The company also identified responsible gambling as a continuing priority as it enters new markets and introduces features.

The Gametime partnership adds a new redemption option to that expanding business, with the focus on giving players more flexibility in how they use their rewards.
