Titled "Bet on Kendall," the campaign marks a significant milestone for Fanatics Sportsbook, as it teams up with Jenner in her inaugural Big Game advertising venture.

Produced by the newly established Fanatics Studios, a collaboration between Fanatics and OBB Media, the commercial leans into the playful myth of what some have dubbed the "Kardashian Kurse."

This notion, fueled by countless memes and internet conspiracies, suggests that any basketball player who dates Jenner experiences mysterious misfortune in their sports career. Rather than shy away from these rumors, the ad cleverly embraces them.

"As our first official project since the launch of Fanatics Studios, ‘Bet on Kendall’ embodies the kind of content we are thrilled to create. It’s storytelling that sits at the intersection of sports and culture, ready for the biggest stage in sports entertainment," said Michael D. Ratner, the CEO of Fanatics Studios and OBB Media.

Who is Kendall Jenner?

Kendall Jenner is a well-known American model, media star, and businesswoman. She became famous as a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family on the reality TV show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Her full name is Kendall Nicole Jenner. Her parents are Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner.

Kendall grew into a top model, walking fashion shows for famous brands like Chanel, Fendi, and Balmain. She has also been featured on the covers of many international Vogue magazines.

In 2017, Forbes named her the highest-paid model in the world. Besides modeling, Kendall is very popular on social media and co-created a tequila brand called 818 Tequila, and now she adds Fanatics Sportsbook to her resume.

In the 30-second spot set to air during the Big Game's halftime, and an extended 90-second version online, Jenner humorously addresses her history of dating basketball talent.

With a knowing smile, she suggests that while the world assumes she's "kursed," she's actually turned this narrative into a strategic advantage: betting on Fanatics Sportsbook. It is separate from the Fanatics Casino.

Against the backdrop of a spooky mansion, Jenner playfully highlights how she's supposedly used the superstition to her benefit, challenging viewers to decide whether to bet with her or against her.

Selena Kalvaria, the Chief Marketing Officer at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, expressed enthusiasm for the campaign. "The magic of this campaign is how Kendall Jenner transforms the lore of the Kardashian Kurse into something playful, participatory, and unmistakably of the moment," Kalvaria stated.

She emphasized the cultural influence Fanatics holds in sports and how "Bet on Kendall" is an apt introduction for Fanatics Sportsbook.
