Sign up with thePolymarket promo code ACTION, deposit $10, and Polymarket hands you a $25 trading bonus to use on tonight's NLDS game at Petco Park. My lean is a low-scoring night, so the card below is built around the Under at 51¢ and a short list of prediction market player props that fit that script.
Milwaukee leads the series 2-1 and gets its third crack at closing it out at 10 p.m. ET on FS1. San Diego is one loss from going home. Here is some game context before you make your Brewers vs. Padres prediction today.
- Pitching: Walker Buehler (9-6, 4.63 ERA) starts for San Diego. Milwaukee named lefty Robert Gasser (5-5, 3.87 ERA) on Wednesday afternoon, and Pat Murphy has said the bullpen will do plenty of the work.
- Series so far: Brewers won 3-2 and 4-3 in Milwaukee, then the Padres took Game 3 by a 4-3 score behind a six-out save from Michael King. Every game has been decided by one run, and none has gone over seven total runs.
Brewers vs. Padres Prediction: Best Polymarket Player Props for Game 4
Three one-run MLB games so far, and Milwaukee stranded 11 runners Tuesday. Runs have been hard to come by, and every pick here for Brewers vs. Padres leans on that. The Under and home run prediction market app prices are what Polymarket posted Wednesday afternoon.

Brewers vs. Padres Prop Picks, Broken Down
Every contract on Polymarket trades between 1¢ and 99¢ and settles at $1 if it hits, $0 if it misses. The price is roughly the market's read on the chance it happens.
Manny Machado Over 0.5 Hits (Yes)
| Market | Price (¢) | Profit on $100 | Trade It |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manny Machado Over 0.5 Hits (Yes) | ~62¢ (est.) | about $61 | Trade It |
Machado is the one Padres bat that has shown up all October. He's hitting .375 with a 1.211 OPS through five postseason games, with six hits and three of them for extra bases. His regular season was streaky (.217 average, 30 homers), but the October version is squaring up everything.
He'll see Gasser, a lefty, and then a parade of Milwaukee relievers, so he gets a mix of looks over four or five trips. A single hit is all this needs.
At about 62¢, $100 buys roughly 161 contracts, each paying $1 if he gets a hit. Kalshi has him at 62¢ to record one, so expect Polymarket to land close.
- Win: Machado gets one hit at any point and you collect about $161, a $61 profit.
- Lose: Machado goes hitless and the stake is gone.
About 1.6x your money on the steadiest bat in San Diego's lineup.
Fernando Tatis Jr. Over 1.5 Hits (No)
| Market | Price (¢) | Profit on $100 | Trade It |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fernando Tatis Jr. Over 1.5 Hits (No) | ~75¢ (est.) | about $33 | Trade It |
Tatis had a strong year, hitting .289 with a .470 slugging mark and 25 homers. October has been a different story. He's 1-for-18 since Game 1 of the Wild Card Series, and the Brewers' bullpen has a 0.64 ERA this postseason.
Leading off gives him an extra trip or two, but the No side only needs him to finish with one hit or none. Kalshi prices Tatis at about 27¢ to get two or more hits, which puts the No side in the mid-70s. For a hitter this cold against two bullpens this good, that's a fair ask.
At about 75¢, $100 buys roughly 133 No contracts, each paying $1 if Tatis finishes with one hit or fewer.
- Win: Tatis finishes with one hit or none, and you collect about $133, a $33 profit.
- Lose: He gets two hits or more.
The safest piece on the card, and a fade on a slumping star rather than his name.
Brewers vs. Padres Under 7.5 Runs
| Market | Price (¢) | Profit on $100 | Trade It |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brewers vs. Padres Under 7.5 Runs | 51¢ | about $96 | Trade It |
This is my best bet tonight. The three games so far finished with five, seven, and seven runs. Both bullpens have been nails: Milwaukee at 0.64 ERA in the postseason and San Diego at 1.69.
Buehler's 4.63 ERA looks shaky, but his postseason résumé is 19 outings with a 3.04 ERA, and he's 2-1 with a 2.53 ERA in four career starts against Milwaukee. Gasser closed the regular season with a 1.67 ERA over his final six outings. Neither manager is going to let a starter wander into a third trip through the order with the season on the line.
At 51¢, $100 buys about 196 contracts. If the game ends with seven runs or fewer, that's about $196 back, a $96 profit. Kalshi has the same Over 7.5 at 50¢ to 52¢, so both markets see it as a coin flip.
- Win: The game finishes with seven or fewer total runs, matching all three games in this series.
- Lose: Eight or more runs score, which would take a bullpen collapse neither team has had yet.
Close to even money on the side the whole series has landed on.
Jackson Chourio Over 0.5 Home Runs (Yes)
| Market | Price (¢) | Profit on $100 | Trade It |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jackson Chourio Over 0.5 Home Runs (Yes) | 17¢ | about $488 | Trade It |
Low-scoring games still produce solo homers, and Chourio is the Brewer most likely to hit one off Buehler. He hit 25 this season, homered in Game 1, and his sacrifice fly Tuesday gave him 16 postseason RBI, tying Ryan Braun's franchise record in 11 fewer games.
Buehler is the right target. His fastball sits around 94 mph now, his strikeout rate has dropped since his elbow problems, and he gave up 22 home runs this year, or 1.29 per nine innings. Chourio went 0-for-4 in Game 3, but he puts the ball in play and doesn't strike out much.
At 17¢, $100 buys roughly 588 contracts that each pay $1 if he leaves the yard. Kalshi has him at the same 17¢, the highest home run price on the Brewers' side.
- Win: Chourio homers and you collect about $588, a $488 profit.
- Lose: He stays in the park, even if he gets on base.
Home run contracts are longshots by nature, so this one carries a big multiple for a small piece of the stake.
Manny Machado Over 0.5 Home Runs (Yes)
| Market | Price (¢) | Profit on $100 | Trade It |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manny Machado Over 0.5 Home Runs (Yes) | 17¢ | about $488 | Trade It |
Same logic as the hit prop, just with more payout. Machado hit 30 homers in the regular season, and three of his six October hits have gone for extra bases. With the Padres facing elimination and Milwaukee holding ace Jacob Misiorowski for a possible Game 5, San Diego needs one swing to change the game, and Machado is the guy most likely to supply it.
At 17¢, $100 buys roughly 588 contracts, each paying $1 if he homers.
- Win: Machado goes deep and you collect about $588, a $488 profit.
- Lose: He doesn't, even if he gets a hit or two.
Keep this one small. Home run contracts miss far more often than they hit, but this one pays almost 6x your stake when it does.
Brewers vs. Padres Game Lines on Polymarket
Here are the game markets in contract prices. Prices move with every trade, so check the live number before you buy. Our MLB odds page tracks the rest of the playoff board.
| Market | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|
| Brewers to Win | 50¢ | 51¢ |
| Over 7.5 Runs | 50¢ | 51¢ |
| Brewers Win by 2+ Runs | ~37¢ | ~64¢ |
| Padres Win by 2+ Runs | ~33¢ | ~68¢ |
On the moneyline, $100 on the Brewers at 50¢ returns about $200, a $100 profit. The Padres side is a penny more. That's a true coin flip, with neither team getting much credit for the series lead or home field.

Christian Yelich and Garrett Mitchell also have Polymarket markets, but there was no price to anchor them to, so check the app for those.
I'm not chasing a Yelich Yes tonight. He's 4-for-10 in the series, but he's been cold over the last month (.235, .577 OPS over 28 days), and I don't want to pay up for that against Buehler and a San Diego bullpen carrying a 1.69 postseason ERA.
What's Moving the Market
Milwaukee naming Gasser Wednesday afternoon is the biggest piece of news. He's a former Padres draft pick who went to Milwaukee in the Josh Hader trade, and this is his first career postseason start. Expect a short outing with Aaron Ashby and Trevor Megill rested behind him. JoJo Romero and DL Hall each threw around 30 pitches Tuesday and may not be available.
San Diego's bullpen picture is murkier. King threw 40 pitches Tuesday two days after throwing 72 in Game 2, so he's unlikely to pitch. Mason Miller missed Game 3 on the paternity list, and Adrian Morejon has been dealing with shoulder fatigue. If both are cleared, the Padres' late innings get much tougher. If not, Joe Musgrove could be pitching high-leverage innings.
The other storyline is Milwaukee's road skid. The Brewers have lost 12 straight road playoff games, tied for the longest streak in MLB history. Polymarket isn't putting much weight on it, with the moneyline sitting near 50-50.
William Contreras is the one Brewer I'd keep an eye on. He's 4-for-11 with two homers in the series, but he's 0-for-5 lifetime against Buehler. That split is a big reason I didn't feature him.

Conclusion
Game 4 sets up like the first three, a bullpen game on both sides that probably comes down to one swing late. The Under at 51¢ is my top play, with Machado's bat and a Tatis fade as the prop angles that fit the same script. Chourio and Machado home runs are the small-stake swings if you want a bigger return.
