In response to a recent downturn in tourism, Las Vegas is rolling the dice on innovative hospitality strategies to draw visitors back to the Strip.
Two major players, Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts International, are introducing all-inclusive packages that bundle hotel stays, dining, and entertainment.
These deals make planning easier and offer good value, which is an attempt to renew interest in the city. By simplifying vacation planning and offering attractive deals, Las Vegas is putting forward a strong hand to reverse its tourism decline and draw guests back to its iconic attractions.
It's one of many strategies, including a recent plan unveiled by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Association. Without a big event like the Super Bowl, it appears some Vegas resorts are pulling out all of the stops.

Trying to Curb The Las Vegas Tourism Decline
In 2025, Las Vegas experienced its most significant drop in tourism numbers outside of the pandemic era since 1970, with a 7.5% decrease compared to 2024. This decline meant around 3.1 million fewer visitors, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
Throughout much of the year, the city saw monthly declines, including a notable 9.2% drop in December visitor numbers compared to the previous year.
Entering 2026, the decline showed signs of slowing. January saw a 2.2% decrease in visitors compared to the previous year, marking the smallest drop in over a year. February offered a glimmer of hope, with some reports indicating a 2.1% increase.
Despite this, Harry Reid International Airport reported a 7.9% decline in passenger numbers in January, including a sharp 19% decrease in international travelers.
To counteract these challenges, Las Vegas is looking to bounce back with new strategies. Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts are offering all-inclusive packages that bundle hotel stays, dining, and entertainment, aiming to draw visitors by simplifying travel plans and offering added value.
Through these efforts, the city hopes to revitalize tourists' interest and bring back the vibrant energy of the Strip.
