Patrick Mahomes Injury vs. Jaguars: How Big Is the Drop-off to Chad Henne?

DraftKings Sportsbook will be refunding all losing single bets on Patrick Mahomes and all single-game parlays bets where the quarterback is the only losing selection.
Mahomes exited Saturday's NFL Divisional Round against the Jacksonville Jaguars with an ankle injury, but he returned for the Chiefs' first offensive drive of the second half.
The shop noted it was for online bets only, and bets will be credited inside 48 hours and refunded via bonus bets.
Few can do what do what Mahomes — who was replaced by veteran Chad Henne — can do.
With the Chiefs betting favorites to come out the AFC, it begs the obvious question with them leading the game at halftime: How big is the drop-off from Mahomes to Chad Henne? And for bettors, how much is Mahomes worth to the point spread?
Action Network's Director of Predictive Analytics, Sean Koerner, tabs Henne as a downgrade of 7-8 points against the spread from Mahomes. The Chiefs managed a touchdown drive with Henne at the helm and led by seven at halftime.
The Chiefs closed the Divisional Round matchup vs. the Jaguars -9.5 with a total of 52.
Believe it or not, Kansas City was one of the most overvalued teams in the NFL during the regular season with Mahomes leading the show. The Chiefs went just 6-10-1 against the spread, the 37.5% cover rate marking the fourth-worst.
Prior to Saturday's game, Henne's last meaningful action came back in Oct. 2021 against the Titans.
A Chiefs win in Saturday's Divisional Round pits them against either the Buffalo Bills or the Cincinnati Bengals, the former of which would be played in Atlanta in a neutral-site clash.
Kansas City was a 2.5-point underd at home against Buffalo earlier in the season, and it was favored by 2.5 on the road against Cincinnati back when the two played in early December.
