Mark Davis owns numerous top-end assets, including the Raiders and Aces of Las Vegas. Add a four-figure slot machine ticket to the ledger.

According to TMZ, Davis made it rain in Sin City's Virgin Hotels on Tuesday, winning north of $1,800 on the Wheel of Fortune slots in one pull.

Because of course he did.

Perhaps it's a sign of good things to come for his Raiders on Monday night. The franchise opens the season as a plus-money underdog (+3.5, +170 ML) against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on primetime.

The owner — also the son of the legendary, late Al Davis — has overseen the Raiders since 2011. The club's coming off an 8-8 season and is expected to win roughly seven games based on projected win totals.

Davis defied the odds Tuesday, nailing the house for $1,875. The only sensible thing for him to do now is to put it on the Chargers to win the AFC West.
