Survivor 51 Kalshi Markets Update For October 2026 + Live Odds and Analysis of Reality TV Prediction Markets article feature image
4 min read

For our readers who haven't been following this story closely (or at all), here's the scoop: Survivor 51 prediction markets are currently nowhere to be found on Kalshi, Polymarket, or other top prediction markets.

This has been an odd development considering how many high volume Kalshi Survivor markets available for both Survivor 49 and Survivor 50. This included binary ("YES/NO") contestant elimination contracts as well as other prediction markets allowing traders to guess which phrases Survivor host Jeff Probst might say.

So, what's the latest? Read on as we breakdown what's new with Kalshi Survivor markets and other reality TV markets we'd recommend trading on!

What's the Latest on Kalshi Survivor 51 Prediction Markets?

Survivor 51 Episode 4 airs tonight (8 p.m. ET on CBS or Paramount+) and unfortunately, we still haven't seen any indication that Kalshi Survivor markets will be returning.

The same goes for The Traitors US, which is now well into Season 5. While it's unlikely that Kalshi Survivor markets will be gone forever, it appears prediction markets in general are taking a hiatus when it comes to reality TV shows that are fully pre-recorded. At least, for this season.

When Survivor Kalshi markets do return, it will be interesting to see what's changed. The Kalshi reality TV prediction markets that do still exist like Big Brother and Dancing with the Stars are predominantly pre-recorded as well, but elimination episodes are live which stops the possibility of leaks.

Featured Reality TV Prediction Market: Dancing with the Stars Season 35 Winner

Dancing with the Stars has become one of the most popular reality TV prediction markets to trade on in recent weeks. Last night saw the elimination of Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson during Super Bowl Night, meaning 10 couples now remain.

Note: Like many prediction markets apps, Kalshi verifies the official results through legitimate sources. In the case of Big Brother Season 28 Winner, the market will be verified by CBS and Paramount+.

The story of DWTS Season 35 has been Ezra Frech as he continues to separate himself from the rest of the field. Kalshi traders buying Dancing with the Stars Season 35 Winner contracts are in lock step with this sentiment, with Ezra's chances of winning hovering around 58%.

Maura Higgins is second in line at 12%, which is naturally a wide gap that actually puts her much closer to the other dancers. Harry Shum Jr. (11%), Amber Glenn (9%) and Jenna Dewan (6%) round out the top-5, with the rest of the pack hovering at a 2% chance (or less).

There's certainly value in grabbing some Higgins winner YES contracts at 12 cents a piece, but traders looking for something a bit safer could opt for Higgins YES contracts from the DWTS Season 35 Top 3 Finisher market (65 cents each).

With $4.3 million in trading volume for the Kalshi Dancing with the Stars Season 35 Winner, there's already a decent-sized pot available, and it should only continue to grow.

What Is Kalshi?

If you're just getting started with Kalshi, give this video a quick watch and feel free to visit our Kalshi review page. It'll help.

Kalshi allows users to make predictions across several unique markets, including sports, entertainment, elections, and even weather. Unlike traditional sportsbooks, which are available in only a handful of states, Kalshi is available across most of the US.

Kalshi operates on a contract-based system in which users buy "contracts" (priced between 1 and 99 cents) based on whether they believe a specific event will occur. The price of each contract fluctuates in real time based on market sentiment. Like the stock market, traders can sell positions early to lock in profits (or minimize losses).
