Wide receiver is considered one of the deepest position groups in this year’s draft with some mocks having as many as seven selected on Day 1. However, with the draft a mere hours away, Marvin Harrison Jr. is heavily favored to be the first one off the board.
Many draft experts believe the Arizona Cardinals are targeting Harrison with the fourth overall pick after three quarterbacks are taken by the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders and New England Patriots. As such, there is significant juice backing the Ohio State product.
But what if Arizona pivots to a different position, or trades the pick away?
Several respective pundits have reported that LSU’s Malik Nabers is atop some team’s draft boards. Might that mean Nabers will be the first wideout selected? Most books believe he has the best shot after Harrison, as Nabers is the only other receiver listed at less than +1000.
Here are the most recent odds for the first wide receiver drafted, according to DraftKings.
Wide Receiver | Odds |
---|---|
Marvin Harrison Jr. | -1600 |
Malik Nabers | +700 |
Rome Odunze | +3000 |
Brian Thomas Jr. | +7500 |
