Collaborating with Action Network for the 2024 NFL Draft is Nick Guarisco (@fantasylawguy on X), who ranked in the top six in mock draft accuracy from 2019-21 at NFL Mock Draft Database, which grades the accuracy of mock drafts across the industry and includes analysts like ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr.

Guarisco's final mock for last year's NFL Draft hit on eight team-player matches and identified 28-of-32 first rounders, though it failed to match the success of previous years. NFL Mock Draft Database graded his 2023 NFL mock draft as the 92nd-most accurate among 1,384 expert mock drafts. This result broke a streak of four consecutive years of his final mock draft finishing inside the top 20. You can find his mock draft history on FantasyLawGuy.com.

With the NFL Scouting Combine in the rearview mirror, check out his 2024 NFL mock draft predictions below.

1. QB Caleb Williams (USC)

Chicago Bears (via Carolina Panthers)

Team needs: QB, WR, DL, C

Lock it up. The NFL is extremely high on Williams despite his quirks and a somewhat disappointing final season with USC. Justin Fields' fate remains up in the air — a trade for him will fetch a second-round pick and change, at best.

2. QB Jayden Daniels (LSU)

Washington Commanders

Team needs: QB, DE, OL, CB LB

There are rumors that Washington wants to move up to No. 1, but the cost would be substantial. Daniels vs. Maye is a toss-up, and I don't believe Washington has decided on which quarterback it prefers.

3. QB Drake Maye (North Carolina)

New England Patriots

Team needs: QB, WR, OT, TE, S

Maye seems like a better scheme fit for New England than Daniels. It's hard to believe Maye gets past this pick — Daniels could though.

4. WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (Ohio State)

Arizona Cardinals

Team needs: WR, CB, DL, LG, LB

Harrison is currently -230 to be the fourth selection on FanDuel.

5. OT Joe Alt (Notre Dame)

Los Angeles Chargers

Team needs: CB, WR, DT, S, RT, RB, LB, TE

The Chargers are an obvious trade-down candidate. There are teams below them that might want to move up for an elite wide receiver (Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze) or an elite QB (Daniels). I can see Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman prioritizing their offensive line as they look to establish their ground attack.

6. WR Rome Odunze (Washington)

New York Giants

Team needs: QB, OL, WR, CB, DT, RB

The Giants are one of many teams who'd love Daniels to slip, but that scenario doesn't play out here.

7. WR Malik Nabers (LSU)

Tennessee Titans

Team needs: OL, CB, WR, DL

The Titans should be prioritizing speed this offseason. That process starts in the draft.

8. DE Dallas Turner (Alabama)

Atlanta Falcons

Team needs: QB, WR, DE, CB

This is operating under the assumption the Falcons sign Kirk Cousins — they currently have -250 odds to do so on DraftKings. However, if Minnesota re-signs Cousins, J.J. McCarthy could be in play. Defensive end is also a major need.

9. DE Jared Verse (Florida State)

Chicago Bears

Team needs: QB, WR, DL, C

Pairing Williams with an elite receiver like Odunze or Nabers would be ideal, but Chicago may have to move up to make it happen. Bolstering its defensive line should be Plan B.

10. OT Taliese Fuaga (Oregon State)

New York Jets

Team needs: OT, WR, DT, SS

It's possible, but not probable, the Jets spend big in free agency to patch the three large holes along their offensive line. This would afford them the luxury of taking TE Brock Bowers. However, offensive line remains the best bet.

11. QB J.J. McCarthy (Michigan)

Minnesota Vikings

Team needs: QB, DL, CB, LB, RB

This is operating under the assumption the Falcons sign Kirk Cousins. If Minnesota can't re-sign him, McCarthy seems like the target here. Defensive end is a major need as well.

12. TE Brock Bowers (Georgia)

Denver Broncos

Team needs: QB, DL, TE, C

Bowers' range seems to be 9-15. Head coach Sean Payton has a history of utilizing TEs in a big way, not to mention Denver is expected to move on from WRs Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy.

13. OT Olumuyiwa Fashanu (Penn State)

Las Vegas Raiders

Team needs: QB, OL, DT, DB, RB

The Raiders could get aggressive and attempt to trade up if Daniels slips to No. 5. If not, the entire right side of their offensive line is slated to hit free agency.

14. OT JC Latham (Alabama)

New Orleans Saints

Team needs: OL, DL, S, LB

Expect a trench pick for New Orleans. The left side of the Saints' offensive line is problematic. The defensive line also underwhelmed last season.

15. WR Brian Thomas Jr. (LSU)

Indianapolis Colts

Team needs: DL, CB, WR, LB

The Colts prioritize athleticism. There's a need at corner, but surrounding franchise QB Anthony Richardson with weapons is paramount.

Michael Pittman Jr. was franchised, but his long-term future with Indianapolis isn't certain. Alec Pierce should be more of a role player than a starter.

16. OT Troy Fautanu (Washington)

Seattle Seahawks

Team needs: interior OL (iOL), S, LB, DT, TE

The Seahawks were decimated with injuries along their offensive line last season; their starting five made just 57-of-85 possible starts. Now all three of Seattle's three interior linemen are free agents. Potentially losing DTs Jarran Reed and Leonard Williams in free agency would hurt, too, so that could be a position of need.

17. CB Quinyon Mitchell (Toledo)

Jacksonville Jaguars

Team needs: DL, WR, iOL, CB

The Jaguars are facing a lot of change in the secondary after releasing CB Darious Williams and S Rayshawn Jenkins. CB Tevaughn Campbell and S Andre Cisco are also free agents in 2025.

18. OT Amarius Mims (Georgia)

Cincinnati Bengals

Team needs: RT, DT, TE, WR, CB, RB

D.J. Reader is a free agent and B.J. Hill will be one next offseason. Right tackle is another clear direction for Cincinnati.

19. CB Terrion Arnold (Alabama)

Los Angeles Rams

Team needs: DB, OL, DE, QB

There are a lot of great WRs in the NFC West, especially if Arizona drafts Harrison, so shoring up the secondary should be a priority for the Rams.

20. CB Cooper DeJean (Iowa)

Pittsburgh Steelers

Team needs: QB, CB, OL, S

Pittsburgh will likely look to take a cornerback here. DeJean ranks eighth on PFF's big board.

21. DT Byron Murphy II (Texas)

Miami Dolphins

Team needs: iOL, DL, S, LB

Miami's three interior offensive line starters are free agents. Last year, the five offensive line starters made 53-of-90 possible starts (31st). Mims could be an insurance policy if LT Terron Armstead gets hurt again, and RT Austin Jackson could shift to guard if needed. In addition, it looks like star DT Christian Wilkins will walk.

22. CB Nate Wiggins (Clemson)

Philadelphia Eagles

Team needs: iOL, CB, LB, RB

Considering the way Philadelphia's defense imploded last season, it's hard to believe this pick won't be used on a defensive player. The biggest need is at linebacker, but the team won't go that route in Round 1. New blood at cornerback could allow the team to move on from some veterans.

23. DE Chop Robinson (Penn State)

Houston Texans (via Cleveland Browns)

Team needs: CB, DE, OT, RB, TE, DT

Cornerback and defensive end are areas of concern for Houston, which has many pending free agents at each position.

24. OT Tyler Guyton (Oklahoma)

Dallas Cowboys

Team needs: OT, CB, C, LB, RB

LT Tyron Smith, who started 14 games for Dallas last season, is slated to hit free agency. Offensive line is a clear need for this team.

25. CB Kool-Aid McKinstry (Alabama)

Green Bay Packers

Team needs: S, OL, CB, RB

DeJean would make a lot of sense, but Green Bay may have to settle for another corner if the Hawkeye doesn't fall.

26. OT Graham Barton (Duke)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Team needs: QB, S, iOL, LB, WR

The future in the DB room is uncertain with CB Carlton Davis, S Ryan Neal and S Dee Delaney potentially departing. S Antoine Winfield Jr. is a free agent in 2025.

27. DE Laiatu Latu (UCLA)

Arizona Cardinals (via Houston Texans)

Team needs: WR, CB, DL, LG, LB

Jonathan Gannon placed an emphasis on his defensive line when he was Philadelphia's defensive coordinator. He needs playmakers at DE and DT in the desert.

28. DT Jer'Zhan Newton (Illinois)

Buffalo Bills

Team needs: WR, DL, S, LG

The heart of Buffalo's defense was gutted by a salary cap fire sale. Linemen hitting free agency include DEs A.J. Epenesa, Leonard Floyd and Shaq Lawson, plus DTs Tim Settle, DaQuan Jones, Jordan Phillips and Linval Joseph. The team should address wide receiver in free agency.

29. OL Jackson Powers-Johnson (Oregon)

Detroit Lions

Team needs: OG, CB, DL

Cornerback is a major need and the defensive line could use more ammo, but the heart of the Lions is along the offensive line. Both of their starting guards — Halapoulivaati Vaitai and Jonah Jackson — are free agents and stud center Frank Ragnow is coming off an injury.

30. CB Kamari Lassiter (Georgia)

Baltimore Ravens

Team needs: OG, DE, CB, WR, LB

Baltimore has not selected a corner early since Marlon Humphrey, who only played 11 games last season. CB Brandon Stephens has one year remaining on his contract while Ronald Darby, Arthur Maulet and Rock Ya-Sin are pending free agents.

31. OT Jordan Morgan (Arizona)

San Francisco 49ers

Team needs: CB, DL, LB, RG

Morgan seems to be a good scheme fit. LT Trent Williams needs a successor, and the right side of the line could stand to benefit from competition.

32. WR Adonai Mitchell (Texas)

Kansas City Chiefs

Team needs: WR, LT, DT, LB

Who is going to protect Mahomes's blindside this year? Assuming the Chiefs patch LT in free agency, finding a complementary weapon to Rashee Rice could be the key to improving an offense that had a relatively down 2023 season.
