Week 5 of the NFL season begins with the Los Angeles Rams hosting the San Francisco 49ers for Thursday Night Football. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on Prime Video.

For my 49ers vs Rams anytime touchdown props, I'm targeting Davante Adams. I also preview how bettors should approach TD scorers for an injured San Francisco squad.

Continue below for my anytime touchdown picks for Thursday Night Football.

49ers vs Rams Anytime Touchdown Preview

This might be one of the worst games for Anytime TD scorers of the entire 2025 season. And I’m certain I wouldn’t have thought that coming into the year but injuries (again) have ravaged the 49ers offense. The trio of starting quarterback Brock Purdy and WRs Jauan Jennings and Rickey Pearsall are out.

I’m still not completely down on my luck for a San Francisco TD scorer, but it does mean we need to look way down the oddsboard for a TD prop.

Mac Jones has been serviceable in a backup role and has four passing TDs in two games, but the real question remains, “Who is he going to throw to?”

With Pearsall and Jennings out, WRs Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson are likely shouldering the receiving load. Of the two, I think Robinson would be my choice since he has the TD pedigree (seven TDs last year with the Rams) and will be playing only his second game of the season after coming off suspension.

I also think if we’re operating under the idea of the backup WRs, let’s take a flier on WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling at +850 as well. He caught four TDs last season with the Saints as an injury replacement, including one vs the Rams.

Picks: Demarcus Robinson +330 | Marquez Valdes-Scantling +850

I've bet on Rams WR Davante Adams every week of the season and I see no reason why we stop now.

Adams has a TD in three of four games and leads the NFL in end-zone targets with nine.

We know Puka Nacua is still going to get the lion's share of targets, but with Adams' TD pedigree, I’d take him against any defense if we’re getting +130 or better.

Pick: Davante Adams (+145)
