Cardinals vs Buccaneers NFL Week 13 Preview

Baker Mayfield is questionable for this game after suffering a shoulder injury against the Rams. This is the same injury he played through a few years back; I think the shoulder was his undoing in Cleveland, but this is the non-throwing arm.

Even if Mayfield plays, I think you see the Buccaneers go super run heavy here. It looks like they're going to get Bucky Irving back. Even if he's not, Sean Tucker has been trending upward.

The Bucs are playing the Cardinals, who are losing offensive linemen like crazy; they just put Jonah Williams on IR and Will Hernandez has been banged up. This Cardinals team with Jacoby Brissett under center is going to start trending down. His magic ran out a bit against the Jaguars.

Marvin Harrison Jr. remains questionable though is reportedly trending up. If they're relying on Greg Dortch, their run game is going to be a non-factor against the Bucs.

It's hard to be excited about either offense in this spot. Chris Godwin came back and played around 40% of the snaps. I just don't think he has much juice this year.

Cardinals vs Buccaneers Prediction, Betting Analysis

We saw this Bucs team go super run-heavy against New Orleans, and that's where they found Tucker’s value. I think that they can do that again in this game against Arizona.

The Cardinals defense likes to drop back into a lot of zones and not get too crazy with their playcalling. Maybe you don't get as many explosives through the air, especially with Baker Mayfield banged up.

Weather-wise, we’ve got what looks like moderate winds and potential for some rain, which would be a disadvantage for a Cardinals team that plays in pristine indoor conditions most of the time.

Pick: Under 44.5 (-110)
