Eagles vs Bears Spread Prediction
Even with Case Keenum reportedly likely to start at quarterback for the Bears, this line has moved just enough to make the Eagles the value side.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson will need to orchestrate his offense with precision to put points on the board, and the running game will be the focal point to assist Bagent in this situation.
Some will point to the Bears gashing Vic Fangio and the Philadelphia defense last season on the ground en route to a victory, but you can expect the Eagles to put an emphasis on not allowing that to happen again.
Fangio will put extra defenders in the box and force Bagent to prove he can beat them with the pass. In passing situations, Philly will take an aggressive approach — it already ranks ninth in pressure rate through two games at 39%.
The Eagles offense should be able to sustain drives as they match up quite well with the Chicago defense. The Bears are 25th in yards per carry allowed, which should give a much needed boost to the Eagles offense on early downs, an area in which they've struggled to open the season.
I have been impressed with Jalen Hurts in obvious passing situations and the numbers bear out my sentiment.
Hurts moved the chains through the air nine times on third dows last week in Tennessee — the most in any game of his career. With more manageable third-down situations tonight, I like the Eagles to score 24+ points and I simply do not believe Bagent and company can match them.

Eagles vs Bears Over/Under Pick

The total f0r Eagles-Bears has understandably dropped following confirmation of Caleb Williams’ absence, but with it now at 41.5, it might be a slight overcorrection.
This is an Eagles team that allowed 20 or more points the first two weeks of the season, despite playing the Commanders and Titans. The Titans have combined for 17 points in each of their other two games, and the Bears offense with Tyson Bagent or Case Keenum is at least as good as the Titans with Cam Ward, thanks to the superior talent elsewhere.
On the other side of the ball, the Bears defense is rough, with their stats inflated by holding the Vikings to just nine points in a game that was heavily impacted by weather. The forecast on Monday night is in the mid-60s and sunny, so they’ll need to (attempt) to stop the Eagles the old-fashioned way.
I don’t think they’re able to, and Philadelphia could approach this total all on its own if it decides to get aggressive.

Luther Burden Props: Receiving Yards Over/Under

Luther Burden III entered this season as a second-year breakout candidate. He hasn't quite met the hype through two games — eight receptions for 95 yards — but tonight is a solid buy-low opportunity for him against the Eagles.
Case Keenum is drawing the start for the Bears and is more of a typical pocket passer, and I am a big believer in Ben Johnson's ability to put him in spots to succeed. I'm anticipating Burden to be used creatively against this tough Eagles defense; he also brings big-play ability to break a long play at any time.
The Bears are 3.5-point underdogs, so they could be forced to pass quite a bit in a potential trailing game script.

Jalen Hurts Anytime Touchdown Scorer
We haven't seen anytime touchdown value for Jalen Hurts like this in years.
Hurts has just one rushing attempt in the red zone this season — while the Eagles may be trying to limit his role in the red zone compared to past seasons, I still expect him to be used heavily. It's a good matchup against the Bears, who are bottom 10 in rush yards allowed and defensive Rush DVOA.
Hurts has been near the league lead in rushing TDs the last five seasons, averaging over 12 TDs per season since 2021. We may not get a price this good on Hurts to score the rest of the season, and I'm taking advantage while I can.
