Wild Card Sunday features a trio of can't-miss playoff action as three more tickets to the Divisional Round will be punched .
For my top Wild Card Sunday NFL PrizePicks and Underdog plays, I’m highlighting Josh Allen, Christian McCaffrey, and Ladd McConkey.
It's the playoffs, and that means Bills quarterback Josh Allen is going to be fully unleashed. His rushing ability should be on full display as the Bills will do everything they can to advance.
Allen has rushed for an incredible 668 yards and seven touchdowns over 13 career playoff games. Allen ran for 14 touchdowns in the regular season and scored multiple times on five occasions.
He's clearly not afraid to call his own number in the red zone, and we should see him find paydirt this afternoon against a Jacksonville defense that is 23rd in touchdowns allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
Next, we move to a marquee matchup on the NFC side of the bracket as the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, host the San Francisco 49ers. When it comes to the 49ers, there is one guy that the Eagles will key in on, and that's running back Christian McCaffrey.
CMC has been the man for the 49ers on offense this season, but he's done the majority of his damage as a receiver. He racked up 129 targets out of the backfield and averaged 4.9 receptions per game.
While a projected trailing game script would put him in a spot to get peppered with targets, it's likely we see the Eagles make someone else beat them. Philly is ninth in receptions allowed to opposing running backs, with an average of just 3.8 per game.
Fade McCaffrey in what could be a long afternoon for the 49ers offense.
We round things out with Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver, Ladd McConkey.
McConkey is in for a big night as the Chargers are live underdogs in this matchup, and their best path to success is to throw the ball against a New England secondary that ranks 25th in opponent completion percentage allowed.
McConkey was still heavily targeted this season despite not being the team leader in targets. He averaged 6.6 targets per game, and his 62 percent catch rate allowed him to surpass this mark in 11 of 16 games this season.
This is a spot where McConkey is game script proof and should have more than enough volume to crush this total.
