The NFL season is fast approaching, and fans across the country are preparing to head to the stadium to cheer on their favorite teams. But for families, attending a game isn’t just about the excitement on the field; it can also be a serious hit to the wallet.
We analyzed the average cost for a family of four to attend a game at every NFL stadium. This included ticket prices (primary and resale, including verified resale via Ticketmaster), food and drinks, and parking. We also looked at each team’s child admission policy to give a full picture of which stadiums are the most—and least—family-friendly when it comes to cost.
A full methodology, including how ticket listings were filtered and how concession and parking prices were inflation-adjusted, is provided below.
Most Expensive Stadiums for Families in the 2025 NFL Season
Some stadiums ask families to pay a serious premium for the live NFL experience.
At the top of the list are the Philadelphia Eagles, where taking a family of four to Lincoln Financial Field costs about $2,058 on average. Tickets alone push the total over the $2,000 mark — the highest in the league — with food, drinks, and parking adding only modestly to the already steep price tag. That’s more than $800 above the league-wide average of $1,248.
The Detroit Lions follow in second, with a family day at Ford Field totaling $1,940. While concessions are on the pricier side, the bulk of the cost comes from tickets — nearly $1,900 for four seats.
The Las Vegas Raiders rank third, averaging $1,855 for a family of four. Even with fairly average concession costs, premium ticket prices at Allegiant Stadium keep Las Vegas among the most expensive destinations in the NFL.
Rounding out the top five are the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field ($1,833) and the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium ($1,638), both of which still sit well above the NFL average.
Other expensive trips include the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium ($1,636), Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field ($1,557), and Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High ($1,550) — all firmly in the league’s higher-cost bracket.
More Affordable Stadiums for Families in the 2025 NFL Season
While ticket and concession prices continue to rise across the league, some teams still offer a family day out at a more manageable cost.
The New York Jets stand out as the most affordable option. A family of four can attend a game at MetLife Stadium for just $493 on average — more than $750 below the league average.
The Cleveland Browns come in second, with families spending about $646 for a day at Huntington Bank Field. Lower ticket costs help keep the experience within reach for many fans.
The Tennessee Titans take third place, with a trip to Nissan Stadium costing about $772 for a family of four. Despite average concession prices, affordable tickets make Tennessee one of the league’s most manageable destinations.
Other teams that stand out for affordability include the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome ($843), the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium ($801), and the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium ($996) — all several hundred dollars below the NFL average and far cheaper than the league’s most premium venues.

Methodology
All prices are based on publicly available team data and adjusted to reflect the 2025 NFL season.
To calculate the cost for a family of four, we included:
- Four general admission tickets (including both primary and resale listings)
- Two beers
- Two soft drinks
- Four hot dogs
- One parking spot
In total, we analyzed nearly 400,000 ticket listings across all 32 NFL teams. Ticket prices were gathered from Ticketmaster and other official outlets. We filtered out atypical listings, removing ultra-premium or luxury packages as well as unusually low promotional offers, to ensure prices reflected what a family would realistically pay at the higher end for a regular-season game.
Concession and parking costs were originally sourced from the previous season’s Fan Cost Index and then adjusted using the Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index (CPI) to reflect 2025 prices. All CPI increases were applied from 2023 to 2025, with the following category-specific adjustments:
- Beer: +6.1%
- Soft drinks: +6.3%
- Hot dogs: +9.3%
- Parking: +7.5%
