The stage for Super Bowl LX is set with the Seattle Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday, Feb. 8.
The Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2018-19 season, when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII. New England outlasted the Denver Broncos in a snowy defensive struggle in the AFC Championship Game.
The Seahawks, meanwhile, survived a shootout with the Rams to set up this Super Bowl rematch as Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba showed out. Can Seattle exorcise past Super Bowl demons this time around?
Here are the opening Seahawks vs Patriots odds for the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks, playing on rival turf at Levi's Stadium, will get a chance at revenge over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
After two blowout wins over the 49ers to reach the NFC Championship Game, the Seahawks won a different type of contest over the Rams. Sam Darnold outdueled Matthew Stafford in a shootout as the USC product threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns. He peppered Jaxon Smith-Njigba often as the WR1 racked up 153 yards on 10 receptions with one touchdown.
Mike Macdonald’s defense is usually nasty. Seattle plays defense on the front foot, attacking the opponent and making life miserable. This defense shuts down the rushing attack and eliminates explosives, which will be important in the Super Bowl against a prolific deep passer in the Patriots' Drake Maye.
Seattle’s special teams have also been historically great — hello, Rashid Shaheed — and will be a significant edge.
It's still worth questioning whether this is a Super Bowl offense.
Seattle is one of the league’s most run-heavy teams and has seen its rushing attack improve as the season has progressed. The Seahawks, however, lost Zach Charbonnet in the Divisional Round and now face a Patriots defense that has been stout against the run all postseason.
Darnold has made the plays he needed against the Rams and 49ers. Can he do it one more time to complete his comeback from bust to Super Bowl champion?
First-year head coach Mike Vrabel and possible NFL MVP Drake Maye have led the Patriots back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
The Patriots' easy schedule this season has been much discussed, but they are nonetheless Super Bowl bound for the first time in the post-Tom Brady era with an eye on their seventh Lombardi Trophy.
New England’s downfield passing attack has been a revelation this season, leading the league in explosive pass rate at nearly one every five attempts. The rushing attack hasn't been consistent, but veteran Rhamondre Stevenson and rookie TreVeyon Henderson form a respectable duo.
New England has benefited from one of the softest schedules in recent history, easiest against both offenses and defenses by DVOA, and the Patriots were just 1-2 in the regular season against .500 teams. It’s been injury luck in the playoffs now too with the Broncos forced to start Jarrett Stidham instead of Bo Nix in the AFC Championship Game — but you can only beat the teams in front of you.
This Patriots' run defense was terrible down the stretch but has gotten a huge boost with the return of Milton Williams. New England absolutely stifled Woody Mark and the rest of the Texans' RBs in the Divisional Round. The Pats then limited RJ Harvey to 37 yards in the AFC Championship. On the whole, the Patriots have limited the Chargers, Texans and Broncos to just 26 points.
Maye will need to step up in the Super Bowl after an 86-yard passing performance against the Broncos. He gets one last tough test against the Seahawks.
