Vikings vs Falcons Preview, Parlay Picks

Falcons +3.5

We will ride with the road underdog in primetime tonight as the Falcons look to bounce back after a tough loss to the Buccaneers in Week 1.

Second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr. impressed despite the defeat, and I expect Atlanta to lean on its passing game to control the pace against Minnesota’s aggressive defense.

Penix was excellent against the blitz last week, which should serve him well against the Vikings’ pressure-heavy scheme.

On the other side, rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy had a strong fourth quarter in his debut but was shaky for most of the game.

Facing a Falcons defense that held Tampa Bay to just 260 total yards in Week 1, I anticipate more growing pains for the rookie tonight.

This matchup sets up well for Atlanta to capitalize and steal one on the road.

Drake London Anytime Touchdown Scorer

The former USC standout will remain Atlanta’s top passing option in 2025.

Drake London logged 88% of offensive snaps in Week 1 and should see similar usage tonight. He drew a team-high 15 targets in the opener against Tampa Bay and remains the clear focal point of the passing attack.

London also led the Falcons with nine receiving touchdowns last season, showcasing his reliability in the red zone.

With his volume and role, London is positioned for another strong outing in this matchup. It's worth noting London is off the injury report for the Falcons — he departed Week 1 late in the game with a shoulder injury.
