Kylian Mbappe has a nice lead atop the UEFA Champions League goalscorers chart, but will Real Madrid make it to the final?
That is a key aspect to evaluate because, obviously, the more games in which a team plays, the more chances that player has to score. Of course, you can predict that at Polymarket.

Mbappe accomplished this feat in the 2023-24 season with Paris Saint-Germain (8 goals), and has 13 goals in the current 2025-26 edition of the Champions League. He's also holding a comfortable lead over Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane, who have both scored 10 goals.
Since Newcastle was eliminated, Gordon is out of chances, but Kane and Bayern Munich are very much alive in the Champions League.
Mbappe and Kane, the top two candidates for this recognition, will face off in the quarterfinals, which begin on Tuesday, April 7.
If Real Madrid goes through and takes Bayern out, it will be tough for anyone to catch Mbappe. However, if the German side advances to the semifinals, then the race remains wide open, with Kane in pole position to overtake Mbappe.
It's also important to note that two-time top goalscorer, Erling Haaland, was eliminated, along with his Manchester City teammates, in the previous round.
However, don't discount Julian Alvarez, as his Atletico Madrid side will face Barcelona in the quarterfinals. With just eight goals on his tally, Alvarez would need a great run to catch Mbappe, but he has a strong path with a possible semifinal against either Arsenal or Sporting rather than PSG or Liverpool.
Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG, 7), Fermin Lopez (Barcelona, 6), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid, 5), and Lamine Yamal (Barcelona, 5) are the long-shots to watch.
