Andrey Rublev takes on Felix Auger-Aliassime in the Round of 16 at the US Open on Monday, Sept. 1. This US Open fourth-round match will tentatively start at 11:30 a.m. ET on Arthur Ashe Stadium and will be broadcast on ESPN.
Rublev is on to the second week at the US Open after surviving a five-set match against the dangerous Coleman Wong. The Russian's foe on Monday, Auger-Aliassime, authored one of the biggest upsets of the tournament by ousting world No. 3 Alexander Zverev in four sets.

Kenny Ducey's Rublev vs Auger-Aliassime Preview, Prediction
Rublev Betting Preview
Rublev is no stranger to this stage. He'll take a career 10-6 record in Grand Slam fourth-round matches into Monday's tilt, and unlike years' past, he doesn't have a name like Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic or Daniil Medvedev in his way of a breakthrough.
The 27-year-old Russian has been to the quarterfinals of a slam a whopping 10 times, but he's never been able to reach the semis due to the brutal nature of his draws. Rublev hasn't ever been worthy of calling himself anything better than a surefire top-10 player, and he's done well over his career to take care of business against weaker opponents even if he continues to come up short against superior competition.
That's what he's been able to do here at the US Open. Not one of his three opponents posed a credible threat on paper, and while the World No. 15 hasn't made it easy in recent rounds, he continues to move on.
The serve is still very much a work in progress, and he'll be hoping to receive some help from his opponent here.
Auger-Aliassime Betting Preview
While Rublev received a very friendly draw to start this tournament, the same can't be said for Auger-Aliassime.
The 25-year-old Canadian was forced to open up against the talented Billy Harris before taking on an accomplished and dangerous ball-basher in Roman Safiullin. He passed those tests with flying colors, and then went on to work Alexander Zverev — one of the pre-tournament favorites — in the third round.
Auger-Aliassime is too often the one to fumble away a lead, but on Saturday it was the Canadian who found a way back into the match after falling behind by a set and a break. It was a magnificent performance, and one which may have signaled a turnaround for the World No. 27.
Auger-Aliassime has been one of the more volatile players on tour in the last couple of seasons — when he's been hot, he's been a guy you want to back. There were few signs this was coming a month ago, but the Canadian has quickly built up some form with a quarterfinal appearance in Cincinnati prior to the three wins at the US Open.
Rublev vs Auger-Aliassime Predictions, Betting Analysis
The head-to-head here stands at a menacing 7-1 in favor of Rublev, but that's not to say this has been a one-sided rivalry. In fact, until the Russian won earlier this year over the Canadian in straight sets, the two had played the maximum three sets in all but one of their previous seven encounters.
That's worth noting when you consider how steady Rublev's level has been for most of his career, and how up-and-down Auger-Aliassime has been. The two are a good and equal pairing, holding some liabilities on the serve and backhand, and some elite tools elsewhere.
While we've been treated to plenty of unpredictability, though, this match may buck the trend.
Auger-Aliassime has cleaned up his game far more than Rublev, with the Canadian holding Zverev to just nine break points over four sets and winning 66% of points behind his second serve. Rublev, meanwhile, has struggled in recent matches — particularly in his last one which came against a big hitter in Coleman Wong.
Auger-Aliassime is certainly a big hitter, and now he's found his range again.
Pick: Auger-Aliassime ML (+110)
