Zverev vs Shelton Predictions, Betting Analysis

Zverev is playing in his third consecutive Grand Slam final, as he won the Roland Garros trophy and then lost a tight one at Wimbledon to Jannik Sinner. Previously, Zverev wasn't very strong mentally, but he's seems to have overcome those issues.
He's had an incredible season, and now he has a chance to lift his first US Open crown. He's coming off four consecutive matches in which he didn't give up a set.
Meanwhile, Shelton is playing in his first Grand Slam final, although this certainly won't be his last. He's a great talent and many people see him in a future big three alongside Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
Shelton has had some shaky sets at the US Open, but the five-set victory over Alcaraz unleashed something inside him. He has great confidence in himself and in his game, and in my opinion, he should be the slight favorite on Sunday.
He's extremely strong mentally, very focused on every point and the whole stadium will be on his side.
We will see an incredible atmosphere on Arthur Ashe, and Shelton can certainly feed off that energy as USA seeks it's first major championship on the men's side since 2003.
Even though I see Shelton winning this match, I don't expect it to be a quick one. Let's go with Shelton to win straight up and on the over 42.5.
