In the end, the top two seeds are ready to duel in the US Open women's final, as Aryna Sabalenka faces Elena Rybakina for the crown on Saturday.

Two Americans — Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff — had a shot at glory in the semifinals, but a collapse by Gauff resulted in this matchup.

Find my US Open preview and Sabalenka vs Rybakina prediction for Saturday's final.

Sabalenka vs Rybakina Predictions, Betting Analysis

By: Tudor Cosma

Sabalenka is extremely upset about losing her world No. 1 position to Saturday's opponent, and this gives her incredible motivation.

We saw how she reacted on Thursday in her semifinal against Pegula, as she played her best match of the year and offered the best individual performance of this tournament.

She was simply a storm on the court; she didn't give up a single break and completely dominated the match.

On Saturday, I think we'll see her even more determined and motivated because she's facing the very player who dethroned her from the top of the WTA hierarchy. It's possible that we'll see an aggression like we've never seen before from Sabalenka.

The question is: Will this motivation carry her to the trophy, or will she overdo her shots and make too many mistakes?

One thing is certain: She's playing here for the fourth consecutive final and has eight consecutive Grand Slam finals on hard courts, a record.

Meanwhile, Rybakina is also motivated, as she needs to prove that she deserves to be ranked No. 1 in the world. She's played well all summer, but is coming off first-set losses to Qinwen Zheng and Gauff.

To her credit, she was very strong mentally and turned those matches around.

Obviously, Rybakina can prevail against Sabalenka, as she did in January in the Australian Open final. However, I don't know if she can match her opponent's intensity, so I'll back Sabalenka on the moneyline.

Pick: Aryna Sabalenka ML -145
