At 121st in the world rankings, Zheng is doing some amazing things in this tournament. She has seven straight victories at the US Open this year, as she had to win three qualifying matches just to reach the main draw.
Two of those victories came against American Madison Keys and top-10-ranked Iga Swiatek.
But the way she's done it is unique in the history of tennis.
Against Keys, she was down 5-0 in the deciding set. She ultimately saved a match point and won 7-5.
Against Swiatek, she was down 5-0 in the first set before winning again 7-5.
That takes a lot of mental strength for a tennis pro who's had a difficult year.
Meanwhile, Rybakina is face to face with history. If she prevails on Wednesday, she'll become the new world No. 1, a position she deserves considering she's a double Grand Slam champion.
She doesn't seem intimidated by this pressure. Against Naomi Osaka, she played incredible, winning in two short sets. She's very aggressive and confident, and her serve gives her a major advantage.
I think she'll control this match through her strength from the baseline.
Despite Zheng's great run, expect Rybakina to prevail by at least four games.
Pick: Elena Rybakina Game Spread -3.5

| Mirra Andreeva Odds | +161 |

| Spread | Andreeva +2.5 (+100), Gauff -2.5 (-150) |
| Over/Under | 22.5 (-105o / -140u) |

Andreeva won Roland Garros in the spring, but since then, she hasn't lived up to expectations.
On hard courts this summer, she was decisively defeated by Leylah Fernandez and Marta Kostyuk, including losing sets 6-0 and 6-1.
In New York, she's picked up her pace, but she was on the verge of failure in the fourth round against Anastasia Potapova.
Meanwhile, Gauff is playing incredible tennis — arguably the best of her life. She's coming off a trophy at Cincinnati, and she hasn't lost a set at the US Open this year.
Her match against Iva Jovic in the fourth round was impressive because we saw how much Gauff improved her serve. She no longer commits a lot of double faults, and she only offered up two break points in the match against her fellow American.
On the other hard, she was also amazing on return.
I expect a lot of self confidence in this match, especially with the stadium on Gauff's side.
I expect the American to win, and I'm not afraid to back her, even at -199.
Pick: Coco Gauff ML -199
