HSBC Champions betting review: Rose wins after stunning DJ collapse
Dustin Johnson had a six-shot lead on the field and teed off as a -1000 favorite. But we've seen it before, no lead is safe in golf.
Johnson didn't record a birdie in the final round on the way to a 5-over 77. That allowed Justin Rose to come from eight shots off the pace with a final round 67 to win by two.

Rose was in the 75-1 range prior to the round and was 20-1 before the tournament began.

This felt like a tournament where a big name would take it down, so going light on my card in the longshot range paid off a little this week. Kyle Stanley tied for fifth place to cash the top 10 ticket at +800. So overall, we had a small 1.8 unit return in the positive direction. We nearly got a second bet into the top 10 with Charles Howell, but a two-over 74 on the final day saw him drop from the 6-under number necessary.
Now with three guys in the top 10 at the Sanderson Farms, we'll see if Ryan Armour can match the Dustin Johnson meltdown and hopefully close the week with a much larger win.
Season recap
Safeway: +3.6 units (Hadley Top 5)
CIMB: -2.0 units (Schauffele Top 5)
CJ Cup: -3.3 units (Harman Top 5)
HSBC Champions: +1.8 units (Stanley Top 10)
