The Outlook

Ah, finally — a wrong has been righted. Within golf circles, the fact that Kizzire, a two-time PGA Tour winner this season, was forced to qualify for the U.S. Open left a bad taste in a lot of mouths — one that only became worse when he failed to make it through sectionals. He’ll get his chance to compete in another major this week, although a string of middling results since his last win six months ago shouldn’t leave any of us too optimistic about his chances of contending.
