Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, and more of the best golfers in the world are set to tee it up at the second major championship of the year this weekend for the PGA Championship.
McIlroy is fresh off his monumental win at the Masters in April to complete his long-awaited career grand slam. He'll be looking to take his second straight major and will have to contend with world No. 1 Scott Scheffler, who enters the tournament in good form.
McIlroy and Scheffler are close to co-favorites to win the 2025 PGA Championship, and they're followed by the defending champion, Xander Schauffele.
The 2025 PGA Championship takes place at Quail Hollow Golf Club, which many are familiar with as it's a regular stop on the PGA Tour each year. McIlroy has won at this course four times in his career, while Scheffler is coming off his first victory of the season.
Our golf experts have broken down all the angles for the 2025 PGA Championship and give out their favorite golf best bets and predictions below.

I love the value we are getting on this prop at + money.
Rory McIlroy comes into the tournament with supreme confidence after winning the Masters last month.
The weight has been lifted off Mcllroy's shoulders, and I expect him to play stress-free golf this weekend.
Mcllroy brings a wealth of experience to this golf course, which bodes well for this prop. McIlroy has won four times in his career playing at Quail Hollow. Mcllroy's average score at Quail Hollow is an impressive 69.48.
His experience at this course and his recent play make this a strong position.
It doesn't feel great fading the top of the board this week, but I don't see any value in Scottie Scheffler or Rory McIlroy at +500.
Xander Schauffele has gotten off to a slow start this season, largely because he missed some time with an injury. However, he's rattled off four straight top-20 finishes including a T8 at The Masters.
He won the PGA Championship last year and has won two of the last five majors, so we should like his chances if he can get into the mix on Sunday.
This is a course that certainly sets up well for his game, as he's finished runner-up, runner-up, and T14 in his last three appearances at the Wells Fargo Championship.

Hideki Matsuyama has not regularly played the Wells Fargo, so we don't get a ton of insight into how well he has played this course recently, but he did finish T5 here in 2017 when the PGA Championship was last at Quail Hollow.
Matsuyama has had some up-and-down results lately, but his strokes gained numbers look really good for a mid-tier bet this week.
Over the last six months, Matsuyama ranks eighth in this field in strokes gained: total, while also ranking 10th in strokes gained: approach, ninth in strokes gained: tee-to-green, and fifth in strokes gaines: around-the-green.
