It feels weird to say it but the 2020 Triple Crown will begin on Saturday, June 20 with the 152nd running of The Belmont Stakes.
As expected, No. 8 Tiz the Law has been installed as the clear favorite with 6-5 odds. The New York-bred horse has four wins and a third-place finish in five career starts and already has a couple of big victories under his belt, including The Florida Derby and The Champagne Stakes, which took place at Belmont.
Tiz the Law is looking to become the first New York-bred horse to win the Belmont Stakes since Forrester did it back in 1882.

No. 2 Sole Volante, who has never missed the board in six career starts, checks in as the second-choice at 9-2.
Dr. Post, trained by Todd Pletcher and scheduled to have Belmont-specialist Irad Ortiz Jr. aboard, is the third-choice at 5-1. Dr. Post is lightly raced, though he's won two of his three starts including the Unbridled Stakes back in April.
The biggest longshot in the field is No. 7 Jungle Runner at 50-1.
