Warriors vs Heat NBA Preview

Jimmy Butler makes his second return to Miami… but he might not even play.

Butler and the Warriors just took a loss against the Magic last night and Golden State will be playing their league-high fifth back-to-back this evening.

Butler was traded from Minnesota to Philadelphia early in the 2018-19 season.

He played in Minnesota just three times (once with Philly, twice with Miami) since the deal before being moved to the Western Conference last year.

He sat out the Minnesota visit four times while with the Heat due to various reasons (injuries, birth of a child, etc).

This Heat-Warriors line opened at Golden State -1.5 and has swung completely to Miami, who is now -6.5-point favorites.

Bam Adebayo, who has been dealing with a toe injury, has been upgraded to questionable after missing two weeks.

He's expected to rejoin the Heat on the floor following the team's big win against the Knicks in Miami on Monday.

As far as the injury report otherwise, you absolutely need to keep track during the day.

As of now, Terry Rozier (chillin) and Tyler Herro (foot/ankle recovery) are both out.

For Golden State, only De'Anthony Melton is confirmed out, but expect activity this afternoon.

Steph Curry "had an ankle tweak" on Tuesday, and Jonathan Kuminga (knee) has missed three straight.

Warriors vs Heat Prediction, Betting Analysis

I wanted Heat moneyline, but the line has moved so dramatically that it's not worth it right now.

As a parlay piece, I do think they'll win, though.

But I'm not recommending you play it at -215.

Give me Davion Mitchell over 16.5 points + assists.

If this popped in time for Buckets last night, it would've been at least a two-star play for me.

Davion has gone over this in nine of his 14 games this season, including five straight and in seven of eight.

Mitchell is averaging nearly 31 minutes per game — 32.6 over his last nine.

It's just a bad line. I'd play at 17.5 also.

Pick: Davion Mitchell Over 16.5 Points + Assists (-122)

The moneyline isn't worth it for me at the current price.

No play on the over/under as well.
