Warriors vs. Pistons Player Prop Pick
Daniss Jenkins appears to be the Pistons' second-best creator at times, which is both an awesome story for somebody who was a really good college player, but also alarming if you are a contender and your second best creator is somebody who was on a two-way contract for much of the season.
The Pistons are letting him a bunch of reps right now; sometimes to a fault, which he showcased to some extent last night, shooting 3-for-16 from the field and staying under this points total line against the Wizards.
So, I'm going to bank on him making more than three shots tonight, playing against the Warriors in the second game of a back-to-back set.
The Pistons seem incentivized to give Jenkins plenty of reps without Cunningham and see how ready he is for the playoffs. This will be a crash course for him. Detroit is going to trust Jenkins with the ball in his hands a lot.
Pick: Daniss Jenkins Over 12.5 Points (-115)
Knicks vs. Nets Total Prediction
By Bet Labs
This NBA betting system identifies value on the Under in division games where the total drops despite the public leaning Over (40% or less of bets).
The reverse movement of the line suggests sharp action is backing the Under.
Division familiarity often leads to tighter, lower-scoring games, enhancing the edge.
Pick: Under 214.5 (-110)
Hawks vs. Rockets Prop Bet
By Joe Dellera
The Rockets face off against the Hawks on Friday night, as they look to bounce back after dropping a pair of games to the Lakers.
One player that had some difficulty in that matchup with Kevin Durant.
It wasn’t that he couldn’t score when he had the ball, but he was being consistently denied. This is not something that I would expect the Hawks to replicate.
Durant already dropped 31 points against the Hawks earlier this season, and when he has played other teams that play fast (top-10 pace), he’s cleared this line in 14-of-20 games this season.
This is a great bounce-back spot for KD considering the expected pace — and even though Atlanta has been on a roll lately, the Hawks have not played a team as strong as the Rockets during their current winning streak.
Pick: Kevin Durant Over 24.5 Points (-105)
Celtics vs. Grizzlies Player Prop Prediction
Action PRO is projecting 3.4 rebounds for Jaylen Wells in the Grizzlies' matchup against the Celtics tonight, presenting a solid 11.1% edge against his current prop line of over/under 2.5, which is strong enough to tag the Over with a B grade in our database.
Wells has recorded 3+ rebounds in four of his last five games, while recording 5+ rebounds in two of those outings, and his only miss during that span ringing in just south of this number at two rebounds.
Let's back him to keep the momentum going in tonight's game against Boston.
Pick: Jaylen Wells Over 2.5 Rebounds (-124)
Trail Blazers vs. Timberwolves Player Prop Pick
By Joe Dellera
The Timberwolves have really ramped up Julius Randle's production recently. He enters tonight's contest having scored 30+ points in two of his last three games.
Granted, one of those 30-point performances came without Anthony Edwards, so that changes how we view the recent sample to a degree — but still, it is worth noting that Randle is capable of putting up numbers whenever Edwards is sidelined, even in slower-paced games.
Pace won't be an issue tonight, though, as the Timberwolves draw a matchup against a Trail Blazers squad that plays at the seventh-fastest pace in the league.
Another key factor is the fact that Portland fouls at a very high rate. The Blazers send opponents to the line frequently, and Randle is excellent at generating contact.
All things considered, this prop line just feels a bit too low. It is probably influenced by the fact that he only scored 21 points against Utah in his latest outing — but that was a 36-point blowout in which he only played 27 minutes.
Tonight's game should be more competitive. I'll grab Randle's Over at 23.5 points.
Pick: Julius Randle Over 23.5 Points (-120)
Raptors vs. Nuggets Prop Bet
By Jim Turvey
Aaron Gordon's minutes were artificially deflated the last time he played because of a blowout.
However, when the Nuggets were in a tight game against the Lakers, they took him up to 30 minutes in regulation (35 overall).
This should be a close game, and as result, Gordon should get enough playing time to go over 14.5 points.
