Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 1.5 Steals

Thunder vs. Timberwolves, 8:30 p.m. ET

The Timberwolves are turning the ball over at an alarming rate, averaging 15.1 in the playoffs and 16.5 in this series. Those numbers are certainly troubling against a quality defensive team like the Thunder.

Oklahoma City led the league this season in opponent turnovers, forcing 17 per game.

Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is often at the scene of the crime, considering his 1.7 steals during these playoffs match his output in the regular season.

His steals prop for Game 3 is available at 1.5 — a number he has cleared in six of his last seven games. Gilgeous-Alexander has been particularly impressive lately, registering three steals in each contest.

If we look at his head-to-head numbers against the Timberwolves, he posted two or more steals in eight of the last 10 meetings.

With the over on this prop only slightly juiced at -130, we're getting sufficient value to make it an official play.

Pick: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 1.5 Steals (-130 at FanDuel)

Donte DiVincenzo Over 8.5 Points

Thunder vs. Timberwolves, 8:30 p.m. ET

The Timberwolves can only hope that a return to the Target Center will help jumpstart their offense.

Perimeter shooting has been an issue for Minnesota, as the team is hitting just 29% of its 3-point attempts.

A change of scenery could be precisely what the Timberwolves need, and given the situational spot, it might make sense to target some of their players on the bench.

Bench players tend to perform better at home than on the road, and Minnesota's Donte DiVincenzo would undoubtedly fit the bill.

The backup guard has a points prop of 8.5 — a projection he cleared in 15 of his last 19 home games. His splits are also promising, considering he averaged 13.0 points at home vs. 10.4 on the road.

DiVincenzo has also succeeded against the Thunder in this price range, covering 8.5 points in four of the last five meetings.

Pick: Donte DiVincenzo Over 8.5 Points (-150 at FanDuel)

Chet Holmgren Over 2.5 Steals + Blocks

Thunder vs. Timberwolves, 8:30 p.m. ET

With OKC's Chet Holmgren coming off a rare performance where he failed to register a single steal or block, I'll take my chances that he'll be much more involved in Game 3.

The Thunder center has a steals + blocks prop line of 2.5, which he has covered in 56% (25 of 45) of his games this season.

More importantly, in the eight games where Holmgren posted a goose egg, he averaged 3.63 steals + blocks in his next outing.

Therefore, this is a great buy-low spot where we can target Holmgren to go over his prop of 2.5.

Before Game 2, he had a run of five straight games with three or more steals + blocks against the Timberwolves.

Look for him to get back on track and start another streak on Saturday night.

Pick: Chet Holmgren Over 2.5 Steals + Blocks (-115 at DraftKings)
