Knicks vs. Grizzlies Player Prop Pick
By Joe Dellera
The Knicks lost a tough one to the Rockets yesterday, but they should be in a good position to bounce back as double-digit favorites tonight.
One player that has gotten more run lately is Jordan Clarkson. He’s consistently logging somewhere between 15-20 minutes — and even with Landry Shamet potentially returning today, I would be a little surprised if McBride plays. Regardless, Clarkson should get plenty of run in this game.
In games with double-digit spreads, Clarkson averages 10.7 points on around 20 minutes per game. If we bump up the minutes floor to 10, he averages 11.4 points on 20.8 minutes per game — clearing this mark in 10 of those 14 games.
The Knicks generally destroy bad teams — and when that happens, the bench usually gets extended run.
Pick: Jordan Clarkson Over 8.5 Points (-130)
Bucks vs. Rockets Player Prop Prediction
Action PRO is projecting 17.9 points for Amen Thompson in the Rockets' matchup against the Bucks tonight, showing a huge 16.4% edge against his current prop line of over/under 16.5, which is strong enough to tag the Over with an A- grade in our system.
At this point of the season, Thompson pretty much never leaves the floor for the Rockets. He's played 39+ minutes in eight of his last 10 games, while playing 40+ minutes in three of those contests.
As a result, his scoring numbers continue to climb as well. Thompson has scored 17+ points in 13 of his last 17 games, while hitting 20+ points in nine of those contests; and getting all the way up to 23+ points in seven of them.
This should be a good spot for him to perform in a matchup against a Bucks squad that ranks 26th on defensive rating and 21st in points allowed per game on the season.
Pick: Amen Thompson Over 16.5 Points (-105)
Spurs vs. Warriors Player Prop Bet
Action PRO is projecting 18.8 points for Brandin Podziemski in the Warriors' matchup against the Spurs tonight, presenting a solid 8.9% edge against his current prop line of over/under 17.5, which is good enough to mark the Over with a B- grade in our database.
Steph Curry will remain sidelined for the Warriors tonight, so that means there will continue to be plenty of extra shot attempts to go around for the rest of Golden State's supporting cast — and Podziemski has been one of the main benefactors.
Podziemski has scored 20+ points in four straight games entering tonight's contest — and while the Warriors draw an undeniably tough matchup against San Antonio tonight, we still see value in backing him to clear this line.
