We've made it to Round 2! We have the Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers on the other side of what is looking like an eventual New York Knicks win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Both teams are coming off a hard-fought Game 7 series and only one day's rest. But Cleveland had to make the short trip to Detroit, who remained home after completing their 3-1 comeback against the Orlando Magic.
In a game as meaningful as this one, we aren't just looking for standard lines — we’re looking for "ceiling" performances. That’s where the ladder pick comes in. If you think a player might go way over their line, you bet their standard over, then "ladder" up into alternate territories (25+, 30+, 35+) for a higher payout.
Today, I'm backing Pistons' sharpshooter Duncan Robinson.

Duncan Robinson Three-Pointers Milestones
Nothing has changed regarding the importance of Duncan Robinson's floor spacing. And this time, he'll see a less aggressive and worse three-point defense. Orlando has been great all year, even in a down season defensively, at negating threes.
The Cavaliers allowed 38 three-point attempts per 100 possessions — eighth most in the NBA and four more than the Magic, who were 27th. Teams shot 37.2% vs. Cleveland from deep during the season, the fourth-highest percentage in the NBA.
Cleveland hardly allowed many threes in Round 1. In fact, they only allowed 30.1 per 100 possessions, second fewest — but that has more to do with Toronto's preferred method of attack.
For Robinson, that shouldn't matter much. Robinson made three or more in 5-of-7 against Orlando, hit four once, and shot 19-for-52 from deep (36.5%) overall, never falling below six attempts.
