  • The Elite Eight continues Sunday with Auburn taking on Kentucky (2:20 p.m. ET, CBS) and Duke playing Michigan State (5:05 p.m. ET, CBS).
  • Using The Action Network's betting tools, we analyze how sharps are betting the Auburn-Kentucky Elite Eight matchup.

Half of the Final Four is set with both Virginia and Texas Tech punching their tickets to Minneapolis with wins on Saturday. On Sunday, the winners of Auburn-Kentucky and Duke-Michigan State will join the Cavaliers and Red Raiders to determine the 2019 national champion.

As you'd expect, today's games are drawing massive action from bettors. It's not only the Elite Eight, but college basketball powerhouse programs like Duke, Michigan State and Kentucky up the ante even more.

Professionals, of course, don't necessarily care who is playing in a given game, as long as it offers a valuable betting opportunity. And based on both the line movement and betting tools available at The Action Network, it's clear that sharps are finding plenty of value in today's Auburn-Kentucky matchup.

This over/under opened at 142 across the betting market and 68% of bettors are taking the over. According to our public betting data, the money has been a bit more balanced, but still favors the over with 57% of dollars hitting that side of the total.

However, this number has dropped to 141 at a handful of sportsbooks, and even to 140.5 at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas.

Sports Insights' Bet Signals help explain why this line has moved against the majority of bettors, and it's because professionals steamed the under twice on Saturday.

Steam occurs when sharp bettors get down on the same side of one game at multiple different sportsbooks all at once. With heavy money from respected bettors flooding the market, oddsmakers have no choice but to move to line to stem the flow of that action.
