With five teams ranked inside the top 15 of the AP poll, including the nation's top two teams, there are plenty of worthy contenders in the mix for the Big 12 Regular Season Champion.

Of those five ranked teams, four are undefeated in conference play. Arizona and Iowa State are 3-0 and ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, but lurking not too far behind are No. 7 Houston and No. 11 BYU, who are also 3-0.

For anyone interested in placing a bet on the Big Ten Regular Season Champion, Kalshi allows bettors to place real money on the outcome in all 50 states.

Big 12 Regular Season Champion Odds

Arizona and Iowa State might be No. 1 and No. 2 in the nation — which has led those two to become the heavy favorites (both at 30% odds or higher) — but Houston has won a conference title (in either the AAC or Big 12) in every non-COVID year since 2018-19.

If you need a reminder, the Cougars went 19-1 in conference play last season en route to winning their second straight conference title, losing only to Texas Tech by one point at home in overtime. Houston already avenged that loss this season, beating Texas Tech at home to hand the Red Raiders their only conference loss thus far.

Texas Tech is also a threat to win the conference, as the Red Raiders' 17-point comeback against Duke at Madison Square Garden earlier this season is proof that they are capable of beating any team on their schedule.

Meanwhile, it feels like BYU hasn't been dominant in the first half of the season, and yet they're still 15-1 with no conference losses. Those five juggernauts will go back and forth throughout the season, and whichever team ends up winning the most games head-to-head against the top of the conference will almost certainly win the conference title.

What is Kalshi?

Different than a traditional sportsbook and available in all 50 states, Kalshi allows users to make predictions across several unique markets, including sports, entertainment, elections and even weather.

Kalshi operates on a contract-based system where users buy "contracts" (priced between 1–99 cents) based on whether they believe a specific event will happen. The price of each contract fluctuates in real time based on market sentiment and like the stock market, traders can sell positions early to lock in profits (or minimize losses).
