The NCAA Tournament is finally here, and Kalshi is delivering with an idea that adds even more excitement to the madness of March. Kalshi will be awarding $1 billion — yes, billion with a "B" — to anyone who predicts a perfect bracket in Kalshi's Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge.

However, even if your bracket isn't perfect, Kalshi is promising $1 million to whoever has the highest-scoring entry in the pool (the prize money will be split in the event of a tie). Additionally, another $1 million will be donated to charity.

Of course, picking a perfect bracket is incredibly unlikely. With 63 games, there are 9.2 quintillion possible outcomes, but if someone can beat those odds, the $1 billion will be theirs. The $1 million prize for the highest-scoring entry will be up for grabs, regardless of whether there is a perfect bracket.

To be eligible to enter this challenge, the rules are straightforward.

Entrants simply need to create a verified account on Kalshi and make their picks before the NCAA Tournament begins. You do not need to trade in any other markets to be eligible for this competition, making it completely free to play for any eligible users over the age of 18 in the United States (excluding Florida and New York).
