Save for an Iowa-Indiana matchup, the Pac-12 is dominating the Thursday college hoops slate. Even with their late start times, five of the nine most heavily bet games tonight are coming by way of the power conference out West, and those late tips should only increase their standings on that list throughout the evening.

One such game drawing heavy attention has been Washington vs. USC. While neither side finds itself atop the conference standings, the spread in this matchup has presented plenty of betting value in the eyes of bettors — including sharps.

If you're wondering why a meeting between the fifth- and last-place teams in the conference is attracting bettors, it's because that fifth-place team opened as just a 4.5-point favorite … at home.

As bettors have caught wind of that spread, USC (17-7, 6-5 in conference) has drawn 79% of tickets against the Huskies (12-12, 2-7). But even with all that support, the line has actually gotten even smaller — it's now down to just -2.5.

With a 21% backing — that also happens to be generating 21% of money — causing oddsmakers to adjust their line by 1.5 points, it's fairly obvious which side consists of the sharp bettors. But just to confirm it, Sports Insights Bet Signals have triggered two waves of smart money hitting Washington (both at 4.5).

Sharp angle: Washington (moved from +4.5 to +2.5)
