Utah is looking to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive when it faces Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday night.
The Utes need a win to have any shot at reaching the national semifinals, but are far from guaranteed a spot given that the committee can make a case that Oklahoma has a more impressive resume.
Utah will bring one of the nation’s stingiest defenses and a solid, ball-control offense to Santa Clara on Friday night, while Oregon looks to bounce back from a loss to Arizona State and a dreadful offensive showing against Oregon State.

Pac-12 Championship Game Betting History
The Pac-12 Championship Game has only been around for a few years, but favorites have historically fared well.
The betting favorite is 4-1 against the spread since the inaugural game in 2014, and USC still won as a favorite despite failing to cover by half a point.
Last year, Utah’s offense struggled mightily in the Pac-12 title game without quarterback Tyler Huntley and running back Zack Moss, who are both back this season and have turned in excellent campaigns.
