Week 13 Action Guide: Rivalry Day

Hopefully, Saturday can live up to an epic Friday that featured Miami going down at Pittsburgh, and an absolute classic shootout between Central Florida and South Florida.

Ohio State (-12 at Michigan) and Auburn (+4.5 vs Alabama) will each try to avoid their third loss of the season in what are essentially playoff games against their biggest rivals. Does it get any better than that?

Additionally, one could argue that Clemson (-13.5 at South Carolina) and Georgia (-11 at Georgia Tech) can't afford losses to their in-state rivals. Oklahoma will play in Arlington against TCU for the Big 12 Championship no matter the outcome of tomorrow’s home game against West Virginia (+23), but a loss could potentially keep them on the outside looking in for the College Football Playoffs.

Before locking in any Saturday morning wagers, make sure you keep your eye on the status of the following quarterbacks:

• Arion Worthman (Air Force) is questionable
• Nate Romine (Air Force) is questionable
• Matt Linehan (Idaho) is doubtful
• Can Thomas (Illinois) is questionable
• Kyle Kempt (Iowa St) is questionable
• Danny Etling (LSU) is questionable
• Brandon Peters (Michigan) is questionable
• Tyler Rodgers (NMSU) is questionable
• Baker Mayfield (OU) will not start
• Eric Dungey (Syracuse) is doubtful
• Frank Nutile (Temple) will start
• Will McBride (Tennessee) is probable
• Luke Skipper (Tulsa) is questionable
• Ryan Metz (UTEP) is OUT
• Zach Greenlee (UTEP) is probable
• Will Grier (WVU) is OUT
• Josh Allen (Wyoming) is questionable

Finally, I organized the channel guide below by kickoff time for every college football game involving an FBS school along with the corresponding spread/total, something only true degenerates will appreciate. I also added streaming links when applicable and corresponding DirecTV channels in parentheses next to each game for your reference.

You can watch every game for free with the exception of  UTEP at UAB (-20.5), which requires a premium subscription on CUSATV.   I’m confident that we will all survive without watching the Miners attempt to avoid a winless season.
