Coastal Carolina vs South Alabama Pick, Betting Analysis
Coastal Carolina's offense has looked so jerky this season.
The biggest indication of this was the Chants scoring just 13 points against Charleston Southern. Any other team in the Sun Belt would've scored 40 or 50 points against the Buccaneers in this game, but the Chants were struggling to convert on third down and they couldn't even complete a forward pass.
They've already pulled the plug on the MJ Morris experience at quarterback and have instead turned to Tad Hudson.
I just don't see Coastal being able to move the ball and convert on third downs. It's not going to be able to run the ball against South Alabama, which I've been very impressed with in its performances against Tulane and Auburn.
Because the Coastal offense shouldn't be able to do much, I like the under for this game. I also like Coastal's team total, but that bet is going to correlate with the game total result.
