Another winner in our early bet column came in Week 5, as James Madison covered all numbers to keep the hot streak going.
This week, we head out west, where one head coach is massively disappointed in the Week 4 result. Arizona State got blown out at home by Baylor in a 55-19 thrashing.
The Sun Devils were outgained by 1.5 yards per play and surrendered 7.6 yards per attempt on 34 rushes by the Bears.
Head coach Kenny Dillingham was direct in his assessment during the post-game presser, showing his motivation to get the team back on track.
Arizona State enters Week 6 with a nonconference game on deck, allowing Dillingham's team to take out some of their frustrations.
The Sun Devils have played a top-35 strength of schedule and are set to host a team that has played one of the nation's softest schedules in Hawaii.
The Rainbow Warriors have severely underproduced this season and will now play their sixth straight game after opening in Week 0.
Head coach Timmy Chang’s team looked gassed in a home loss to San Jose State. Now, it has to travel back to the mainland for the second time in a 14-day span.
Hawaii will also be in a look-ahead spot, as it gets ready to host Mountain West powerhouse New Mexico, which will be fresh off a bye week.
There are a number of analytical factors playing into the game that favor Arizona State, including a monster discrepancy in "Middle 8" scoring, penalties and PFF tackling.
The most alarming statistic for Hawaii might be red-zone scoring, moving from second nationally last season to 129th through five games this year. The Rainbow Warriors sit near dead last in red-zone touchdown scoring, generating just seven touchdowns in 18 red-zone trips.
Arizona State has been stout defensively in Finishing Drives, a factor that should help Dillingham get an all-out performance from his roster.
Pick: Arizona State -21 or Better
