  • It took until late Saturday afternoon, but sharp action finally hit the over/under in tonight's Oklahoma State vs. Texas matchup (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC).
  • The Action Network's tools have made sharps' opinion clear on the Big 12 total.

Saturday's early kicks left us looking at a few pretty, pretty lofty final scores. LSU-Vandy hit the triple-digit mark, while UL Monroe-Iowa State and Coastal Carolina-UMass both reached 90.

As if bettors needed any more reason to take a Oklahoma State-Texas over.

All odds of 6 p.m. ET and via PointsBet, where Action Network users get an exclusive 200% deposit match (deposit $50, bet with $150).

Seventy percent of bettors have taken the over since it opened, which has brought the total from its early opener and low point of 69 up to the current number of 72.

So does that mean sharps are in agreement with the public?

Not exactly.

According to Sports Insights' Bet Signals, which track and record professional action causing market moves, pros waited for the number to reach its high-water mark before striking. In this case, that mark was 74.5.

Two SI Bet Signals hit the under on Tuesday and Wednesday (at 74.5 and 74), putting a roadblock on the line rise and sending the total back the other way.

For most of the rest of the week, the number settled in the 72.5-73 range as sharps and sportsbooks seemed to be in agreement that the listed number was accurate … until about an hour ago.

Around 5:30 p.m. ET, a third bet signal hit the under at 72.5, sending most of the market to 72. A few shops even made the full-point move to 71.5.

For what it's worth, the bets on the under have been the slightly bigger ones, too. They've generated 36% of bets, serving as another sign that wiseguys are a bit heavier on the under.
