The current DraftKings promo code stands pairs a straightforward $5 first bet requirement with one of the more generous bonus bet rollouts on the market right now. New users who activate this DraftKings sign-up bonus lock in $200 in bonus bets paid out over three weeks, plus three months of NBA League Pass immediately after signup.
I walk through every detail of the offer below, and I tie it to today's Rays vs. Guardians ALCS Game 4 (6 p.m. ET on TBS and truTV), a matchup that gives you a high-stakes game to put your first wager on today, Friday, Oct. 16, 2026.
What is the DraftKings Promo Code?
This DraftKings promo code asks for a $5 minimum first bet on any market. This loose structure allows your first bet to be on the MLB Playoffs tonight, college football, or any other sporting event. Once that bet settles, win or lose, DraftKings begins releasing your $200 in bonus bets on a set schedule:
- Bet $5 on any sports betting market to trigger the offer.
- Receive $50 in bonus bets split into two $25 increments once your first bet grades.
- Collect two more $25 bonus bets on day seven after signup.
- Collect two more $25 bonus bets on day fourteen after signup.
- Collect the final two $25 bonus bets on day twenty one after signup.
- Access three months of NBA League Pass right away, no bet result required.
I like that the NBA League Pass feature does not depend on the outcome of your qualifying bet. Unlock that perk the moment your account is registered, and your $5 wager posts.
How the Bonus Bet Schedule Breaks Down
Here is a simple table showing when each piece of the DraftKings sign-up bonus lands, as the staggered format trips up a lot of first time users I talk to:
| Milestone | Bonus Bets Released | Running Total |
|---|---|---|
| First bet settles | $50 ($25 x 2) | $50 |
| Day 7 | $50 ($25 x 2) | $100 |
| Day 14 | $50 ($25 x 2) | $150 |
| Day 21 | $50 ($25 x 2) | $200 |
Each $25 bonus bet carries a seven day expiration window from the date it posts. I always recommend using them on games within that first week rather than letting them sit.

Rays vs. Guardians Prediction: ALCS Game 4
I lean toward the Rays moneyline (-110) on DraftKings Sportsbook as my Rays vs. Guardians prediction, and a few factors drive that read:
- Tampa Bay won five of six regular season meetings against Cleveland in 2026, a trend that I value even in the postseason.
- The Rays enter tonight with a deeper bullpen and the starting pitching edge.
- Cleveland’s offense struggled to produce consistent runs at times throughout the season, which could rear its head again at any point.
I expect a low scoring, pitching driven game at Progressive Field, and I give Tampa Bay the edge. If you like my analysis and breakdown of the DraftKings promo code, sign up to bet Rays-Guardians before first pitch.
