The 49ers will host the surging Panthers on Monday Night.
Carolina has posted a 6-5 record this season and has won five of its last seven games. The Panthers can take sole possession of first place in the NFC South with a win tonight.
While the Panthers have played great football lately, I expect them to regress against this 49ers team.
According to Evan Abrams (in his Week 12 betting primer), the Panthers are 6-15 against the spread following a game in which they scored at least 30 points since 2018. The Panthers dropped 30 points in a win over the Falcons last week.
San Francisco has impressed me all season despite key injuries. Brock Purdy is back under center for the 49ers, and when Purdy is playing, this has been one of the most efficient offenses in the NFL.
I expect San Francisco to dominate the pace of this contest and roll to a comfortable victory tonight.
Christian McCaffrey 70+ Rush Yards (-118)
The veteran has been dialed in lately.
McCaffrey, who is the front-runner to win NFL Comeback Player of the Year, has cashed this prop in three of his last five games.
I expect a heavy workload from McCaffrey tonight considering the 49ers are 7.5-point favorites.
