Bears vs Vikings Preview, Parlay Picks
The J.J. McCarthy era begins tonight as the Vikings head to Soldier Field for this highly anticipated matchup.
I am high on this Vikings team entering the 2025 season. Head coach Kevin O’Connell has shown consistent success working with multiple quarterbacks, and I believe he’ll have McCarthy well prepared against this Bears defense.
Minnesota had one of the best defenses in the NFL last season (our Brandon Anderson ranked them third heading into the new season), and it should have a strong game plan ready for Caleb Williams tonight.
Chicago surprised the league by drafting Colston Loveland with the 10th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Loveland is expected to step in as the Bears’ top tight end, particularly in the passing game. The former Michigan Wolverine will be a key piece of Chicago’s offensive game plan tonight.
I expect the Bears to play much of this game from behind, forcing them to throw more often. That game script should benefit this prop.
