Broncos vs Jets Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks

Justin Fields Anytime Touchdown (+280)

Editor's Note: An anytime touchdown parlay is not the author's formal recommendation. These touchdown picks have value as straight bets.
It didn't take long for me at all to come up with a Jets touchdown scorer
Justin Fields didn’t score last week against the Cowboys as that wasn’t really a matchup suited to his strengths as a runner (Dallas plays a ton of zone coverage).
This week though, the Jets face the Broncos, who play the most man coverage of any NFL team. Facing a man coverage defense typically leads to QB rushing upside because defenders get their back turned and lose sight of the runner.
Now, Fields has three rushing TDs this season and both were scored on teams that deploy more man coverage than zone (Dolphins, Steelers).
My man Nick Giffen was so excited about this TD bet, we’ve since collabed on it and tracked it in the Action Network App. His reasoning was because Fields has only faced man defense on 16.3% of his dropbacks, there’s even more rushing upside because his adjusted net yards per dropback (ANY/A) are nearly triple when facing man compared to zone.
Pick: Justin Fields (+260)

Evan Engram Anytime Touchdown (+400)

Speaking of man coverage, the Jets are almost up there with the Broncos in the rate they use it (sixth-highest rate).
New York, however, hasn't been nearly as successful as it ranks last in defensive DVOA against the pass through six games, with four touchdowns allowed to tight ends in just the last two games.
Given the trend, I think we take TE Evan Engram in this spot — he notched a touchdown against the Eagles last week and seems to be recovered from the calf injury he suffered earlier in the season.
Broncos head coach Sean Payton said he wants to use Engram in the “joker role” like Jimmy Graham in New Orleans — this could be a prime matchup for Engram.
Pick: Evan Engram (+400)
