Not much was expected of Bhayshul Tuten after the Jaguars drafted him in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft, but he impressed the coaching staff out of the gate, and his attitude and talent led the team to trade away Tank Bigsby.

Tuten is very much the second-string running back behind Travis Etienne, but he’s still seeing the football enough and has been productive, showcasing his agility and elusiveness.

Through the first four games, Tuten is averaging just over five carries and 22 rushing yards per game, with an average of 4.2 yards per carry.

The Chiefs have given up 127 yards per game on the ground, which ranks 22nd. Tuten won’t smash this line, but he should get enough work to potentially cover it.

Pick: Bhayshul Tuten Over 18.5 Rushing Yards (-110 — BetMGM)

Xavier Worthy Over 4.5 Receptions (-144)

After missing two games, Xavier Worthy returned to the Chiefs in Week 4 and the sophomore didn’t skip a beat. We’re only one year out from him being drafted 28th overall and he instantly looked like the most explosive player on the Chiefs.

He had eight targets in his return and caught five of them, racking up 83 yards. It’s pretty hard to imagine that he doesn’t haul in at least five on Monday night — with the line increasing to 5.5, it’s worth taking the over on that number as well.

Worthy makes things happen and if you remove Week 1, when he left the game early with injury, then he’s had five or more receptions in nine straight games dating back to last season.

Pick: Xavier Worthy Over 4.5 Receptions (-144 –FanDuel)

Travis Etienne Anytime Touchdown (+130)

Many thought that Etienne’s time as RB1 in Jacksonville was over, but the former Clemson man has returned to form after a down 2024 campaign.

He fits Liam Coen's offense well and it’s no surprise, given his skillset, that he’s the featured back. Etienne leads the Jaguars in touchdowns scored, having found the end zone on three occasions.

Having been kept out of the end zone in the opening game of the season, he’s now scored in three straight games. With the Chiefs giving up four touchdowns in four games to running backs, three on the ground and one in the air, it feels like there’s a better chance of Etienne scoring than the odds of +130 would imply at 43.5%.

Pick: Travis Etienne Anytime Touchdown (+130 — Draftkings)

Brashard Smith Anytime Touchdown (+650)

This is a dart throw, but if you’re looking for a long-shot anytime touchdown scorer for Monday Night Football, then you have to have a little sprinkle on Brashard Smith, who has seen his role increase slightly every week.

  • Week 1: 0 carries/targets
  • Week 2: 1 carry/1 target
  • Week 3: 2 carries/1 targets
  • Week 4: 4 carries/4 targets (3 receptions)

The former SMU man doesn’t have big draft pedigree as a seventh-round pick, but that shouldn't stop him from earning playing time. Look no further than Isiah Pacheco, who was also a seventh-round pick of the Chiefs.

Speaking of Pacheco, part of the reason for backing Smith as a long shot is how poorly run game is operating.

We saw Smith's shiftiness last week and heard positive words from Matt Nagy and Andy Reid during the week. Smith's time is coming and we’re going to see increased usage, so take him to score here.

Pick: Brashard Smith Anytime Touchdown (+650 — BetMGM)
