Browns vs Jets NFL Week 10 Preview
The Jets traded Sauce Gardner to the Colts at the deadline, but that shouldn't matter in this game.
If there's one game where the Jets can survive without him, it's against the Browns passing attack, outdoors, in a rainstorm.
Looking at the success rate, Dillon Gabriel is the worst quarterback in the NFL, by far. The bottom five are:
- Tua Tagovailoa: 43%
- Bo Nix: 42.5%
- Russell Wilson: 41.5%
- Cameron Ward: 40%
- Dillon Gabriel: 36.7%
As you can see above, Gabriel's performed significantly worse than the rest of the group.
Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is back in practice. Quarterback Justin Fields looked better last game against the Bengals and he should have a little bit more confidence for this one.
The Jets defense is also not as bad as their numbers may suggest.
They will get worse after trading away Quinnen Williams, but up until now, the Jets' defensive stats suffered because they give up explosives and can't tackle. Their success rate is good and they haven't forced any turnovers.
Even without Gardner, this will probably when the Jets defense comes away with their first takeaway.
Browns vs Jets Prediction, Betting Analysis
It makes no sense for Dillon Gabriel and the Browns to be favored on the road in this spot, especially when you consider the fact that the Browns defense isn't the same away from home.
Quinshon Judkins is set to play, but he’s still injured, and that’s basically the Browns' entire offense.
This game is going to come down to some terrible turnovers. It's just two bad teams, and they both want to lose because they'll be better off if they do.
Pick: Jets Moneyline (+115)
Spread
I'm betting on the Jets to win outright on the moneyline instead of taking the points.
