Cowboys vs Lions Prop Picks, Preview
Jahmyr Gibbs Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

When it comes to pass catching, you could argue that outside of Christian McCaffrey there isn’t a running back as dangerous as Jahmyr Gibbs.
Gibbs' receiving yards line for this game stands at 35.5, which is an absolute must-smash. Firstly, Amon-Ra St Brown is questionable to play (and Sam LaPorta remains sidelined), and Jared Goff is going to need to pass somebody. Surely the Lions look to feature Gibbs more in the receiving game.
Even if they don’t think Gibbs is a guy who can be consistently used as a pass-catcher, in the previous three games he’s had 24 targets and 170 yards — despite being inflated by the Giants game, that's heavy usage.
The other big thing going our way is that the Cowboys have given up the third-most receiving yards to running backs at an average of 44.6 yards per game.
Pick: Jahmyr Gibbs Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-110; bet365)
Jared Goff Over 0.5 Rushing Yards (+120)

It’s going to be a tough game for Jared Goff since he's missing some his favorite targets, which means he might need to extend plays at times with his legs. He’s not a player who runs often, but he has rushed the ball in 8-of-12 games this season.
Goff's not that athletic and is clearly not a threat when he decides to run with it, but there could be opportunity here. Only one team has allowed more rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks than the Cowboys.
Even if you take away Dallas' two games against Jalen Hurts, which damages its numbers, the Cowboys are still comfortably in the top half of teams in terms of most rushing yards allowed to QBs.
Pick: Jared Goff Over 0.5 Rushing Yards (+120; bet365)
Ross Dwelley Anytime Touchdown (+475)

Yes, we’re taking Ross Dwelley to find the end zone.
The 30-year old only has five touchdowns to his name, and the last came in the 2022 season, but the stars are aligning for him here. With St. Brown injured and LaPorta out, there are a lot of red-zone targets to go around.
When it comes to other pass-catchers on the Lions, it feels like Dwelley is the man who could pick up some of the slack. Last week, the game in which St. Brown went down injured, it’s notable that Dwelley had three targets to Anthony Firkser’s one, and Tom Kennedy’s four.
Kennedy has a lot shorter odds to score, which doesn’t feel right when he didn’t have a single red-zone target. Dwelley actually led not only the tight end room, but the entire Lions team in red-zone targets.
Pick: Ross Dwelley Anytime Touchdown (+475; Hard Rock)
George Pickens Over 5.5 Receptions (-114)

He’s been cleared fit to suit up on TNF, so we’re going back to the well with George Pickens' receptions prop, a line that has felt like money all season long. His line sits at 5.5 here, which feels criminally low given some of the performances we’ve seen from him lately.
The last time Pickens had fewer than six receptions was in Week 7. In every game since then he’s had at least nine targets, with double digits on two occasions; he has been integral to how the Cowboys offense functions.
Pickens should continue to get targets and is highly likely to haul in enough catches to cover this line.
Pick: George Pickens Over 5.5 Receptions (-114; FanDuel)
